27 Dispenser Water is not cool Symptom Cause Answer There is a water tank in the refrigerator or door freezer, where the water is refreshed to be distributed. When the cold water is being distributed, the water of the faucet enters the water tank. If a large amount(7glass ) of water is used then it will need enough time to cool. 28 Dispenser Ice does not come out 1 Symptom Ice does not come out of the dispenser Cause Melted ice Cube frozen together. When ice gather in one, it doesn t comes out When ice gather in one 1. If you don t use the ice dispenser, the melted ice get together. 2. Have to use the machine twice in a day. 3. If the freezer warmed while it was moved, the ice may have slightly melted and froze together when it was turned back on. You may have to loosen the ice before it will come out of the dispenser. Break the ice Answer Ice does not come out. The ice from the ice bank can be melted and drop into the freezer in this case, take out the ice bank and clean it. Break the ice. 31 Door Door will not close properly 1 Symptom Door will not Close properly Cause Answer 1.The ice bin, crisper cover, pans, shelves, door bins or baskets may be out of position. Push the bins all the way in and put crisper cover, pans, shelves, and baskets into their correct positions. Be sure that packaged foods do not extend beyond the front 2.Move packages that keep door from closing. Door will not close properly Are the doors hitting anything? Is an item in the refrigerator preventing the door from closing properly? 3.Vegetable compartment cover Customer s assembly mistake When you assemble the vegetable cover or shelf, Push the cover or shelf all the way. 15
32 Door Door will not close properly 2 Symptom Door will not Close properly Cause Answer 1.Check to make sure the gasket around the door is clean and straight. Adjust if necessary. If the door is sealing and air is not leaking from around the door then there is not a problem. Make sure nothing is blocking the door from closing completely. Door will not close properly 2.Clean the gasket. leaks in the door seal will cause refrigerator to run longer in order to maintain desired temperatures. 3.The gaskets may be sticking. Clean the gaskets and the surfaces that they touch. Rub a thin coat of appliance polish, kitchen wax or paraffin wax on the gaskets after cleaning. The gasket is dirty, worn, Cracked, or poorly fitted 16

Before removing the doors, turn the refrigerator OFF and unplug it. Check hinge install properly. Take off hinge cover with + screw driver. Check hinge assembled properly. 34 Door Door will not close properly 4 Symptom Will the doors not close completely or not stay closed? Cause Answer 1.Be sure floor is nearly level and can adequately support refrigerator. Sagging or sloping floors should be repaired. 2.The refrigerator should be level or very slightly tilted toward the back to facilitate door closing. There are two leveling feet located behind the base grille: one at each front corner. adjust the leveling feet. Door will not close properly Installation mistake 18

44 Temperature Food is frozen in vegetable compartment 2 Symptom Food is frozen In bottom vegetable room (miracle zone) Cause Answer Some models have a miracle zone with a temperature adjustment this allows to change the temperature. adjust to higher setting and check again. (Type 1 = Applicable to some models only) Food is frozen in vegetable compartment 2 (Type 2 = Applicable to some models only) Miracle Zone Temperature wrongly set. ( storing vegetables in meat or fish condition) 28
45 Temperature Moisture buildup Symptom Cause Answer 1.The food may not be packaged correctly. Wrap food tightly and wipe off damp containers prior to storing in the refrigerator to avoid moisture accumulation. Moisture buildup 2.When the door is opened, warm, humid air (moisture) is allowed in the freezer resulting in frost. 3.Not closing the door causes cold air from the inside the refrigerator to meet warm air from the outside leading to excessive condensation. Ensure the door is closing completely and the gasket is sealing properly. Open the door less often. Moisture Buildup Customer misuse 29

Cause -.The refrigerator is installed on the weak floor such as wood floor Answer 1.Prevent vibration by inserting cushion such as foam below roller and adjustable screw when installing refrigerator. Hum sound and severe vibration The sound becomes louder When the door is open. -.The refrigerator is not properly leveled. 2.Level the refrigerator with adjustable screws under the door and ensure that the refrigerator is firmly fixed. 31
