1 Top 7 Things to do in Istanbul on Your Vacation Istanbul is one of the great cities in the world. It is a historic city with thousands of years of history. As a result, there are numerous historical sites to see. Istanbul is a sight to see with its many mosques, brilliant tile work, and remarkable architecture. Istanbul is wonderful; we met so many goods, welcoming people here. Finally, Istanbul is home to the Hagia Sophia, an incredible architectural wonder considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. If you're planning a trip to Istanbul on behalf of your turkey e visa, you should be aware that there's a lot to see. Istanbul may easily occupy five days of your time.

2 1. THE BLUE MOSQUE The Blue Mosque is located across Sultanahmet Square. The Blue Mosque, built-in 1616, is known for its elegant blue tile work that covers the inside of the structure. It is free to enter, and if this is your first time inside a mosque, here is an excellent place to start. When entering a mosque, there are specific regulations to follow. The processes are adequately described here because of the significant number of visitors that visit the Blue Mosque every day.

3 2. THE GRAND BAZAAR Shopping in the Grand Bazaar was one of the joys of our trip to Istanbul. Typically, shopping is a task for children. The Grand Bazaar is a delight to explore, with its series of bright lanterns, friendly people, and a maze of corridors.

4 3. THE GALATA TOWER Built-in the mid-14th century, the Galata Tower served as a fire tower, barracks, and jail. One of the finest views of Istanbul can be had from the top of the tower. 4. TOPKAPI PALACE The Ottoman Empire's organizational hub was the Topkapi Palace. This palace was in use for 400 years until Dolmabahce Palace was built in the mid-nineteenth century. The Harem, where the Sultan's mother, his wives, and his concubines stayed, is one of the greatest sites to see in Topkapi Palace.

5 Istanbul's Topkapi Palace is a stunning location. Exquisite tile work can be found in every room. If you visit in the spring, the grounds are stuffed with tulips and hyacinths. In addition, the views of Istanbul from here are spectacular. 5. TRY SOME NEW FOODS Try some of the local food while you're in Istanbul. Meatballs made of lamb or cattle are known as kofte. Pide translates to "Turkish pizza." Meze is a type of cold starter. Dolma has filled vegetables or vine leaves. Sis Kebabs, or grilled meat skewers, are tasty. A meat sandwich consisting of lamb, beef, or chicken is known as a doner. Desserts such as Turkish delight (lokum) and baklava are both excellent.

6 6. CRUISE THE BOSPHORUS RIVER Istanbul is the only capital on the planet that covers both Europe and Asia. The Bosphorus River separates these two continents. A boat on the Bosphorus River is a fantastic opportunity to explore more of the city if you have the time. In the morning, the boat departs from Eminonu and goes north to the Black Sea. Lunch in the tiny fishing town of Anadolu Kavagi at noon. Yoros Castle is a fifteen-minute walk uphill from Anadolu Kavagi. The views of the Black Sea are spectacular from here.

7 You'll be back at the Golden Horn in Istanbul by 5 p.m. This is a low-key day, suitable for putting in the middle of your city trip. You spend your time sitting and watching Istanbul glide as you cruise the Bosphorus. 7. ISTIKLAL STREET Istiklal street is a well-known street in Istanbul's New District. It's a pedestrian-only street that may get rather congested. This neighbourhood has a distinct atmosphere from the rest of Istanbul. Gap, Starbucks, and Nike are all located in this area.
