2 SUNSET SPONSOR Sunset Sponsor $7,500 There are two Sunset Sponsorships: One Sunset Sponsor will serve as the host for our arrival reception on the beach which will include appetizers, cocktails, and entertainment. The Sponsor s representative will have the opportunity to greet guests as they arrive. Sponsor logo/name will be prominently displayed on tables, napkins and stage area. One Sunset Sponsor s logo will be featured on mobile bidding portal that will be utilized by all guests attending the Imagination Ball. 10 2016 Imagination Ball to Benefit the American Cancer Society What: A fabulous event celebrating 33 years on Marco Island where we come together for a memorable evening. It s not about the party; it s why we give the party. The donations we receive through the Imagination Ball make a significant impact in the fight against cancer. All of this progress is accomplished through donations from our community. Attendees include social, philanthropic, professional, business and community leaders. In our area, the American Cancer Society provides patient services such as Look Good Feel Better, Road To Recovery, support group and resource rooms (which include free wigs, turbans and scarfs). All of these services are free and you can receive more information by visiting or calling the local office. This is a perfect opportunity for you or your organization to make a difference in the fight against cancer as well as be a part of a well-established event in our community. We have many volunteers who are involved in producing this special evening so that no detail is overlooked. The funds raised will go to finding treatments, developing preventative measures and ultimately finding a cure for cancer. In the 1960 s, the cancer survival rate was up to one in three. Today, the cancer survival rate is 68% for all cancers. The American Cancer Society donates more money to cancer research than any other private, not for profit, non-government funder of cancer research in the United States. The American Cancer Society has funded 47 Nobel Prize winners. In addition to these services, the American Cancer Society provides patient services, transportation and support groups.
