I am writing to present you with the opportunity to lend your support to the statechampion theater program at LHS and its fall musical production of Rodgers & Hammerstein s Cinderella. This classic Broadway version of Cinderella played to sold-out crowds earlier this year in the Dallas Summer Musicals at Fair Park and at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. Very different from the animated Disney version, the show features such great songs as My Own Little Corner and Ten Minutes Ago I Met You. All three performances at LHS will include live symphony composed of band and orchestra students from the school. Simply put, our theater and music students will not be able to put on this beautiful and popular production without financial help from the community. Community fund-raisers are planned, but time is short before the first curtain lifts at the 1,200-seat LHS Stuver Auditorium on Nov. 5. There are multiple levels of sponsorship available, all of which would give your business recognition in the show program that will be read and kept by thousands of attendees. There also are opportunities for an on-site presence, and even for recognition from the stage prior to the show. Best of all, your participation would help support the hard work and developing talent of dozens of Lewisville High School performing arts students as they share their gifts and energy with enthusiastic audiences. Plus, your name would be connected to a Lewisville High School state champion The LHS Theatre Company won the UIL Class 6A One-Act Play state championship in May, the first such title in school history. I hope you will review the sponsor opportunities that are available and consider lending your support to this production and the outstanding students who are part of it. If you are unable to be a sponsor at this time, there also are opportunities to purchase advertising in the show program without the added sponsor benefits.
