2 GOOSE GALA OVERVIEW GOOSE GALA Four Seasons Hotel, Toronto Thursday, April 14, pm 10pm T he Canadian Wildlife Federation s Goose Gala is an evening dedicated to the wildlife and wild spaces of our beautiful country Canada. During National Wildlife Week, April 10 to 16, the Goose Gala celebration is hosted on the Thursday. Our inaugural gala in 2015 was a sold-out event with over 250 influential, like-minded, environmental and wildlife enthusiasts. Joined by Canada s leading corporations and philanthropists, the Goose Gala raised over $250,000 for CWF s Wild by Nature campaign. The campaign was established in 2015 to help ensure that our natural world is part of Canada s lasting legacy by supporting CWF s five critical pillars of programming: Habitat Stewardship Freshwater Conservation Marine Wildlife Protection Conservation Education Endangered Species Research and Recovery The importance of Canada s natural habitat and wildlife is no laughing matter; however, why not have a little fun while making a difference? The Goose Gala is a night filled with hope, education and humour. Past entertainers and special guests included Brent Butt, Juno award winner Johnny Reid, Canadian broadcaster Brian Williams, Lloyd Robertson, Loretta Rogers, Robert Bateman and Mayor John Tory, just to name a few.
