2 ABOUT US Established in 1974, the Round Lake Area Park District's mission is to promote healthy lifestyles through recreation programs, facilities and open spaces. The Park District serves over 60,000 residents in Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights, Round Lake Park and Hainesville, encompassing nearly 19 square miles. In addition, we own and maintain 74 parks that provide approximately 775 acres of open space and parkland. Our facilities include the Robert W. Rolek Community Center, Sports Center, Aquatics Center and Nature Museum, SRSNLC Teen Center/Youth Center and Renwood Golf Course. 5 SHIP Dance Recital, 2017 Little Shop of Horrors, 2017 PERFORMING ARTS ADVERTISE IN OUR PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS! 4,500 PROGRAMS HANDED OUT Families with kids Every season, the RLAPD hands out nearly 4,500 programs to Performing Arts patrons. They are read before the show, during intermission, and even taken home as keepsakes. As such, your business will receive tremendous visibility and recognition for your role in supporting the arts. Our yearly Dance Recital occurs over two days in June. Five performances take place to showcase all ages, levels, and techniques. 2,000 programs are printed per season. Six family-friendly Theatre Performances occur throughout the year, with 2,500 programs printed in total. Performances mostly take place in Spring (April, May, June) and Winter (November, December, January). Due to licensing and performance rights, show titles remain tentative.
