2 Overview Indianspice and Ganesha Communications in association with Diwali In London (DIL) have joined their efforts to present India Club s Sandton Diwali Festival. It is with great honor for India Club to host the Diwali festival yet again as we in this new synergy with Diwali in London (DIL) and Sandton Diwali Festival (SDF), the tale of two cities embracing the culture and tradition of India and celebrating the festival of lights in our respective continents. This year, India Club and associated sponsors will be hosting this festival at the George Lea Park, Sandton. The Diwali Festival is considered by far the largest attraction for Indians living in South Africa from all over the Gauteng province where one can enjoy an array of entertainment, a feast of culture and bargain shopping. This festival is befitting given the very deep historical, cultural, economic, family and business ties between our Gauteng residents from all walks of life, stereotypes and race. When we celebrate Diwali in South Africa we do so fully conscious of the value that our compatriots of Indian descent add to the diversity and unique character of our beloved country, South Africa. This festival, which has been a signature event in Gauteng s calendar promises to supersede branding and marketing opportunity to any stakeholder who positions their entity at the Naming Rights Owner to the event in 2011.

3 Getting Involved The festival. has one of the largest multi-ethnic, 1-day outdoor celebrations in this part of the world which has now quadrupled in attendance over the past 2 years. With this being said, there is a large amount of volunteer opportunities that are available to people and organizations in the community who are interested in lending a helping hand with putting together, as well as during the 1-day celebration. the India Club Sandton Diwali Festival. Marketing The Indianspice communications and marketing databases has its own extensive advertising program, creating awareness of our grand celebration and its advertisers. You can look for ads in our newsletters, website, flyers located in many businesses within our community. Also India Club Sandton Diwali Festival will be advertised using other mediums such as radio and direct mailings. Our Magazine Our magazine booklet which will be a mixture of glossy color and black & white pages will include a special message from the national President, along with articles and a full array of our sponsors. It s a perfect medium for businesses to advertise in order to gain a larger audience to their particular product or service. In addition, the magazine booklet will be distributed at our grand India Club Sandton Diwali Festival celebrations to each and every patron and at popular venues in SA.
