2 Submitted by David Trusty Presents December 1 st, 2001 Riverside Centroplex 9am- 3pm A December event celebrating the holidays in a hands-on activities and crafts show to put you in the spirit of the season.

3 Saturday, December 1 st, 2001: 9am-3pm Riverside Centroplex Exhibition Hall Last year, thousands of parents and children attended this premiere holiday event hosted by Clear Channel Communications. The Riverside Centroplex will again be filled this year with families for a day of fun and interactive crafts designed to educate and entertain children in the Greater Baton Rouge area. The concept is to invite thousands of children that live here in South Louisiana (and parents, too!) to attend this one-day event that features a wide of array of crafts that the children actually make as gifts for the special people on their Christmas list. Tickets will be three dollars with a portion of the proceeds going to support the Baton Rouge YMCA and the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. Each entrant will get to make fun artwork, meet costumed characters and even take pictures with Santa. A local corporate sponsor underwrites the raw materials expense

4 of each craft area. The Arts Council and the YMCA will assist in manning the craft areas. Entertainment on the main stage will showcase music, dance and sports exhibitions as well as educational interests for families. Holiday music, decorations, Nintendo video walls and karaoke stages will turn the Exhibition Hall into a special Christmas Festival for Art of the Season!

5 Event Marketing Clear Channel will showcase this event on all 6 Clear Channel Baton Rouge radio stations. We have also partnered with newspaper and cable television sponsors to proudly showcase this family event to the community in a $100,000 advertising campaign. The marketing of Art of the Season 2001 will include: Press Releases, interviews and news media launch 21 days prior to the event Radio campaigns on WJBO, WFMF, KRVE, WYNK, Radio Disney, and WSKR Live Remote Broadcasts on WJBO, WFMF, KRVE and WYNK Cable Television advertising with Cox cable Print Advertising in The Advocate Event posters and flyers distributed at all Clear Channel remotes during the month of November
