A Two-Day Celebration of the Color, Art, Music and Cultures of the Americas DATES: October 8 & 9, 2010 TIMES: LOCATION: FEATURES: ATTENDANCE: Noon 10:30 PM MúsicArte spans six blocks in Downtown Fort Worth, centered in exciting Sundance Square Visual art and cultural entertainment both day and night 100 artists, 100 performers celebrating the countries of South, Central and North America Typical attendance is projected approximately 50,000 people over the two days. PRESENTED BY: Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation COST: FREE to the public ATTRACTIONS: An eclectic variety of fine art from 100 artists with a Latino theme, including ceramics, painting, photography, woodcarvings, glassworks, jewelry and multi-media compositions. Two stages and pavilion areas feature more than 100 exhibits, demonstrations, wine and food. 3 Overview In the fall of 2010, the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Downtown Fort Worth stakeholders, organizations and cultural institutions, will once again bring the vitality and diversity of the Americas South, Central and North to the heart of Texas. With a five year plan to establish this event as the centerpiece Latino celebration in Texas, the City of Fort Worth will open its doors to hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors in a colorful and diverse celebration. This is the fourth year of this major Downtown event initiative. MúsicArte de Fort Worth Arts Music and Heritage Festival will focus on the great tradition of art, music, food and winemaking from regions of South America, as well from the State of Mexico. For two wonderful days, Sundance Square, the epicenter of our exciting downtown business district, will host demonstrations, performances, and famous entertainers and lecturers from the Americas, and their proud history contemporary traditions. Up to 50,000 visitors will hear presentations of Latino and ethnic music; see demonstrations of wine making; enjoy diverse culinary traditions, old and new, and enjoy fine arts and crafts from top artisans from each country. MúsicArte de Fort Worth will illustrate a dynamic and creative society, built upon rich natural resources, thriving cosmopolitan cities and engaging rural landscapes, where a rich heritage of freedom, optimism, opportunity, and achievement contribute to a vibrant contemporary culture. The Festival will present an important opportunity for thousands of people to learn about Latino history, heritage, and culture firsthand, from the people who have dedicated their lives to celebrating, promoting, and preserving it. The Festival is a family event that draws evenly across age groups, and is as diverse as the American public. Beyond those who enjoy the Festival in person, another million people will visit through web coverage provided by the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Local, regional and national media coverage will reach another million+ people including policy-makers, diplomats, corporate and tourism industry leaders, educators, and cultural figures, as well as the general public through stories on television, radio, and print, generating, an estimated $2 million worth of positive exposure. The Festival will boost tourism, promote the public image of those represented, and stimulate a variety of cultural and economic opportunities /04/2010

MúsicArte de Fort Worth presented by Sponsor OFFICIAL SPONSOR $25,000 As an official Product or Service of MúsicArte de Fort Worth, your product name will be strongly associated with our marketing and promotional efforts. Exclusive product association is granted at this cash sponsorship level, and your product or service will be mentioned in advertising as the Official Product or Official Service of MúsicArte de Fort Worth. Sponsors are also afforded the opportunity to include this official status in their own marketing and advertising efforts. ENVIRONMENTAL SPONSOR $5,000 MúsicArte de Fort Worth is taking further initiatives to make the event more environmentally positive by instituting several new green policies and programs aimed at reducing the amount of waste generated. Biodegradable plates, utensils and cups are used throughout the event, and a complete recycling program has been initiated to help with all other waste. Be a part of this exciting new initiative.
