5 Clinic Collateral and Goodie Bag Items DUE Early October (Commitment) AND Mid October (Received in Williamsport) Leagues and Districts host a variety of clinics geared towards educating volunteers (District Administrators [DAs], Umpires, League Officials, etc.) that administer the Little League program locally. Clinics are offered at Regional Centers as well as in various district locations. For these events, sponsors have the ability to provide 1,000 brand related collateral or items (pins, giveaways, product information, etc.) to be distributed to these volunteers. Audience: DAs, Umpires, League Officials and Coaches Quantity: 1,000

6 Little League Essentials Catalog DUE Mid October (Commitment & Draft) AND Early November (Final Artwork) The Essentials Catalog is designed to promote licensed equipment, services and goods such as pins, patches, banners, etc. that leagues can purchase for use during both their regular and tournament seasons. This is also an opportunity for select sponsors to communicate relevant offers/programs to leagues. This includes Rulebooks, Tee Ball Guides, Charter Certificate, Insurance Materials and other information. Sponsors have the ability to include relevant program information such as promotions, activities and fundraisers for the upcoming season. 10 Little League Magazine presented by Major League Baseball DUE January 19 th (Commitment), February 16 th (Draft) AND March 2 nd (Final Artwork to MLB) Written and published in conjunction with Major League Baseball, Little League Magazine is printed in mid-march and distributed in early-april with the opportunity for ad placement for our sponsors. 13 Tips for Depicting Little Leaguers in Advertising & Promotion Use Little League logos with a blue registration mark on light backgrounds. When developing creative for a softball ad, be sure to use appropriate imagery including bats, balls and headwear All players or umpires depicted in a game setting must be wearing the appropriate Little League patch on their left sleeve Watches, rings and jewelry of any type should not be included in any imagery Player names (first or last) must not appear on uniforms Players used in ads should be appropriate Little League age (12 and under) Include a URL (direct link) in print publications to be able to track metrics and provide additional information pertaining to the promotion, product or service being endorsed. Furthermore, Urchin Tracking Module (UTM) tracking codes are beneficial to aggregate and analyze click activity from various aspects of a campaign. If a player is being portrayed holding a bat in a batting stance or any similar situation, they must be properly equipped with a helmet Avoid the use of trophies in creative as banners are awarded for Little League championships

14 Filming Guidelines for All Forms of Media Provide Little League notice of intent to produce a commercial spot/schedule a video shoot eight to twelve (8-12) weeks prior. A draft of the proposed script/story board should be submitted to Little League Marketing in advance of final production. Please allow a minimum of 72 hours for internal review. A rough cut of the video before final production should be submitted to Little League Marketing for review. Please allow a minimum of 48 hours for internal review and edits. Contest / Sweepstakes Rules Guidelines Provide Little League notice of a sweepstakes or contest six to eight (6-8) weeks prior to filing/bonding administration. Supply a marketing plan for the contest or sweepstakes. Prior to bonding; a draft of the final Official Rules (including abbreviated version) should be submitted to Little League Marketing for review. Please allow 5 business days for internal and legal review. Rules must be bonded legally before launch of contest/sweepstakes.

16 Retailer Marketing Guidelines When using Little League Marks to promote a sponsor product through a retailer, please adhere to the following creative guidelines: 1. Logo Size Retailer Marks must be smaller (no larger than 25%) than the size of both Little League and Sponsor Marks on advertising material. 2. Logo Placement Little League Marks must appear alone or adjacent to Sponsor Marks. However; Retailer Marks should not be adjacent to and must be separate from Little League Marks. The use of the words available at are encouraged in advertising material where space allows. 3. Hashtag Usage Hashtags to be used by a Retailer that include Little League marks in any social media posts will not be approved.
