2 What are the NZ House & Garden House Tours? The NZ House & Garden House Tours are New Zealand s largest charity house tours and are run in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. In 2017, we were proud to donate $65,047 as well as a $100,000 Stuff advertising campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer. The 2018 NZ House & Garden House Tours are being held in even more locations than ever - five fabulous tours all around New Zealand! This ninth tour season will allow the chance to step inside the pages of NZ House and Garden and experience some of the country s most beautiful homes - and all for a good cause. We are looking for sponsors for the 2018 NZ House & Garden House Tours to take advantage of a strong engagement platform - including many touch points, pre, during and post event. All tours run from 10am- 4pm on the following dates Whanganui: 23 February Wellington: 9 March Christchurch: 16 March Queenstown: 23 March Auckland: 6 April

3 What you need to know The NZ House & Garden House Tours give attendees the opportunity to not only step inside the pages of NZ House and Garden and experience some of the country s most beautiful homes, but also support the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ The tour is a day of indulgence and fun visiting beautiful homes and gardens in five locations across New Zealand NZ House & Garden Tour: 97% 95% Of participants surveyed recognised or could name a sponsor from the tour Tour participants were female $65,047 57% Were repeat visitors, with attendees participating in a total of 3 tours on average Was donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ as well as a $100,000 Stuff advertising campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer.

5 Media Value Review The 2017 marketing campaign was executed across print, radio and social media to drive ticket sales. This included a renewed digital strategy that would ensure the continued success of the tour. Furthermore, a PR strategy was implemented, aimed at raising awareness of the tours, as well as promoting the exciting addition of the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ as the event s charity beneficiary. 6 Charity partnership For the fourth year running, the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ serves as the charity partner for the 2018 House Tours. The vision of the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ is to prevent New Zealanders developing and dying from breast cancer and to improve the quality of life of those with the disease. Proceeds from the House Tours raised in 2018 will help fund vital research and support local services in each of the five communities the tours are hosted in, including funding the foundation s helpline, post-surgery physio and free counselling service.
