Consent f. Call to question: 3314 g. Consent C. Condom Q&A a. Robishaw: What are the hours of the CC? a. Gail: Opens: Mon-Fri 7:45am, Sat-Sun 10am Closes: Mon-Wed 12am Thurs-Sun 2am b. Phase 2: Where are other places for condoms? a. Pride Center and Health and Counseling c. Temp: Is there a way to make the condoms free? a. We do not believe that the machines we have will be able to dispense them for free. We would have to get new machines d. 3334: Who was supposed to let us know about these machines? a. No one really knew who was supposed educate people about these. e. Robishaw: Wouldn t it be more feasible to have them in the bathrooms of the Res Halls and Apts? a. It s all up to you guys. We just want to know if we would want to have them in the bathrooms of CC.

2 b. NCC: We would have to purchase new machines for that as well. f. Move to end Q and A: NRHH a. 2 nd : 3314 D. Discussion: a. Phase 2: a. Stevens Point has a condom fairy where you get free condoms given to you every few weeks. b. Some people want a website to set that up, others think its awkward, some want 24/7 access b. Robishaw: a. Most of residents didn t know about the machine. Most wouldn t use the machine. Prices were fair. c. NRHH: a. Convenient having it in the CC b. Concerned with different system would be it would have to be in sight of someone and the appeal about the private factor c. May want poster of facts about what the CC offers d. APT a. Good that they re there, but need better advertisement that it is there b. Not just have a bowl cause they could be tampered with e. Byron: a. Yield to Dean: Since its free, they should be removed or put up a sign that says free option f. Temp a. Advertised more b. Our RAs have condoms g. Ted a. It s just using up our resources b. Since it s free at the Health and Counseling we feel like it s promoting sex h. Res Hall a. Partnering with the Health and Counseling center b. CC is convenient i a. POC: How many condoms did we give away for free? a. We don t really have that information, but we could look into that b. POC; Do we have good brands? a. Not fancy ones but they still do the job a. People in my building would be concerned that they are cheap if they are free j. Robishaw: We stated that 40 were sold last year k. Phase 2: Putting them in more places like the men and women s restrooms would be better l. Res Hall: 40 might not be a lot but it s 40 less babies m. What direction do we need to take them? a. Warren: Residents told me that they wouldn t use it but they like the idea of it being there

3 b. Walter: What if we putting it by the vending machines instead of putting it in that bathroom? a. That location is more private, which is the point of them c. NRHH: A lot of people have mentioned that the privacy is the important thing d. 3334: We shouldn t really have the privacy factor because it s not really being used. If you can t ask someone for condoms, should you really be having sex? e. Motion to extend the 10 min discussion: NRHH a. 2 nd : Phase 2 f. Small: POC-There s just a bowl of condoms in the health and counseling center? a. They have a glass dispenser right by the secretaries g. Roy 2: What if you put them in the vending machines like the ones in Roy? h. Robishaw: People wanted them to be in a private place i. Josie: What if the RAs had condoms so you don t have to ask a stranger? You re going to have sex whether you ask for condoms or not j. NRHH: Not all buildings have vending machines k. Walter: Oshkosh has people who have condoms and gives other health wise advice in their buildings l. NRHH: At the Pride Center, you can just go in there and grab some without talking to anyone n. Vote to keep the machine to keep it in the bathroom a. In favor: 9 b. Getting rid of the machine: 14 c. Abstentions: 0 d. Resident being yelled at for playing music too loud and feels like it is ridiculous about it b. Robishaw-POC-What limits are there for courtesy hours? i. Up to the discretion of your neighbors. ii. Being at a respectful level at all times iii. In place to allow people to have space for them to study. Might want to talk to RAs to see what the respectful noise level is c. Temp-POC-What are courtesy hours? i. 24/7 d. Robishaw-POC-The person to ask is the RA? i. Yes 4. Long a. Packer Party was moved to the lounge i. We still had a big turn out a.
