6 Slovak Centre Ltd. Advertising Contract The undersigned ( Advertiser ) agrees to advertise with The Slovak Centre on the website with this contract, Advertiser s ad will run during the following month(s) (circle all that apply): JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUNE JULY AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC advertising rate changes apply immediately to all contracts with full payment due prior to the Payment Due Date (defined below). Approved ads will be published to the website by the 1 st of the following month. All text, fonts, illustrations and halftones must be correctly formatted and furnished on disk or via as per the web.designer specifications on or before the submission deadline. Advertiser understands that the first two hours of artist time in creating a new one-color (black and white) or the revision of a previously submitted ad will be included in the price of the ad. Additional time will be billed at a cost of 40/hour. Advertiser further understands that the cost of creating or revising spot or four-colour advertising will be charged at cost, at a minimum of 40/hour. Advertiser agrees to receiving up to two art work proofs for no charge, after which a fee of 30 per pair of proofs will be assessed. Advertisers agree to pay a 100% of the ad rate on or before the ad proof approval date (below). Furthermore, Advertiser agrees to pay for photography, illustrations or color scans performed on behalf of the website, as well as any corrections made to advertisement after signed approval of ad; such work will be billed to Advertiser at cost. Unpaid balances are subject to a 10.0% monthly late payment fee on the cumulative balance starting thirty days after the Payment Due Date of the contract. (INITIAL). Cancellations must be received in writing and will not be accepted after the Cancellations date of the contract in which ad is to appear. Advertiser acknowledges receipt of and agrees to comply with all policies and requirements set forth in the website/slovak Centre Advertising Policy and Rate sheet as detailed above. The is published in partnership with the Slovak Centre. Advertiser agrees that the website and/or the Slovak Centre has the right to reject advertising: 1. If the editors determine that the advertising is inconsistent with their understanding of the community s objectives, values or image or the aesthetic standards of the website and/or the Slovak Centre. 2. If Advertiser fails to meet deadlines for space reservation, ad revisions, new advertising or ad approvals (see box above). 3. For any other reason or for no reason. Advertising space is sold on a first-come first-serve basis. The Slovak Centre reserves the right to defer an ad to a future month if deadlines are not met. Further, the website reserves the right to delay, suspend or terminate publication at any time. Advertiser releases the website and The Slovak Centre from any and all loss, liability or expense occasioned by Advertiser by reason of a) any failure to publish advertising pursuant to this Contract or b) failure to return ad media (original art work, disks, film). In such event the advertising is not affected, the Advertising Charge (or the prorated portion thereof) will be refunded to Advertiser.
