5 A Circulation The Triangle publishes on Friday during nearly all weeks that Drexel is in session. This means unlike many other college papers, we publish virtually all year round, including the summer, since the majority of Drexel s population is still on campus. For the year, our minimum print circulation is 3,000 copies per issue. The paper is distributed free-of-charge in dorms, dining location, academic buildings and other high traffic areas across Drexel s campus. The Triangle is a unique source of news for Drexel students. It covers stories that would get swept over by major news outlets but are relevant to students campus events, student organizations, Drexel sports teams and features on students themselves. Each issue includes the our four main sections: News, Opinion, Entertainment and Sports. MEDIA KIT 5

9 B Advertising Rates Print Advertising Print advertisements are the traditional means of advertising in the newspaper. Printed display advertisements allow you to purchase space in the newspaper to put your product or business side-by-side with the articles that readers are looking at. Display advertisements can be prepared with a mixture of text and imagery to attract a reader s attention and to your product or business. It is recommended that these display advertisements be professionally prepared because higher quality advertisements garner better return on investment. The News section, Arts and Entertainment section and Sports section are published weekly and are available for ad placement. Placement in a specific section may be guaranteed for an additional 10% of the initial cost. Competing advertisements will never be placed on facing pages. The Triangle offers discounted rates for local businesses, Drexel departments and Drexel students organizations. Please insure that you are consulting the proper price listing. MEDIA KIT 9
