ENGAGING ADS. STRATEGIC LOCATIONS.

CANADIAN DIGITAL NETWORK CDN is leading the way in value and innovation in Saskatchewan s out of home advertising industry. We pride our selves on offering efficient, impactful media. With this in mind, we set out to create Saskatchewan s largest outdoor digital advertising network. And now, it s here. Digital Platform Displays offer you the opportunity to appeal to diverse audiences with creative (including full motion video) that can be changed or updated throughout the day. The technology employed in CDN s outdoor digital advertising system lets you quickly distribute advertising and other creative to your displays. Upload and display your creative in as little as a few minutes. CDN s expanding outdoor digital advertising network is the future of outdoor advertising in Saskatchewan. Your creative has never been more engaging and your message never more effective. Advertise with us CDN can help you create the advertising experience you need to get your message noticed through our outdoor digital billboards and our in-venue network. With our extensive network and strong business relationships, we can make the most of your advertising dollars.

LET S DISCUSS YOUR ADVERTISING OPTIONS Digital Outdoor At CDN, we select our sign locations based on reach and frequency of consumer visit. By strategically placing ads in high traffic areas, we create maximum impressions. Your messages can be changed easily and quickly without the expense or production time associated with traditional billboards. You decide what time of day your ads run, targeting your message to the audience much like radio and TV advertisers. CDN s network offers 55 digital faces running 864 ten second spots each day. With a daily vehicle traffic count of more than 1.3 million that translates to more than 2.15 million viewers a day. Digital Indoor Digital display monitors are typically smaller versions of digital outdoor signage. You see them in shopping malls, shops, restaurants and almost everywhere else. Our monitors are found throughout Saskatchewan in TCU Place in Saskatoon, SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon and Affinity Place in Estevan. Static Indoor We select our locations based on reach and frequency of consumer visits. Ads are strategically placed to create maximum impressions. Our static 11 x17 and 24 x36 posters are found in SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon and Affinity Place in Estevan.

WHY BUY DIGITAL MEDIA THROUGH CDN? Flexibility and Responsiveness High Reach and Frequency Cost Effective Engaging and Memorable Unlike traditional print, digital signage can be changed quickly to reflect the latest promotion, content or sales event. Content can be customized by time of day and/or location. 55 digital faces. 864 ten-second spots each day. 2,153,649 daily viewers. 1,309,242 daily vehicle traffic. Ads run 24/7. With electronic file transfers, say goodbye to costs related to printing and installing paper or vinyl. High production fees are a thing of the past. Cost per impression is competitive with other mass media. Compared to static print, a digital sign tends to grab attention because of the inherent tendency to focus our eyes and attention on something in motion, colourful and ever changing. Our signs provide vivid colour reproduction of LED technology resulting in a stunning visual impact and high definition images that are professionally designed and animated. Digital signage offers unique creative possibilities, including back-to-back ads, before and after images, promotional ads and more.

TIME SENSITIVE ADVERTISING Dayparting, a term borrowed from the radio and TV industries, is now used by the digital billboard industry. It s the practice of dividing the day into several parts usually morning, afternoon and evening during which a certain category of programming takes place. Dividing up the day lets you better target advertising toward a particular demographic or purchasing pattern. Traditional billboards cannot daypart their advertising because they run a single ad for weeks at a time. Digital billboards really have more in common with radio and TV advertising than their static outdoor. With the ability to daypart your ads, you can communicate multiple messages via one medium. Digital billboards can be updated remotely in minutes using web-based software and a high-speed internet connection. This lets you respond quickly to a changing situation. Put time-sensitive advertising to work for you: Department Stores: advertise individual sales throughout the month. Sports Teams: promote specific games and their outcomes - almost in real time. Real Estate Agents: advertise specific or multiple listings, even on open house days. Restaurants: use a digital board to promote your breakfast menu in the morning and dinner specials in the evening. Financial Institutions: update mortgage rates and loan products in real time. Hospitals and Clinics: promote multiple wellness programs or seminars. Retailers: respond quickly to weather events, like a hardware store promoting snow blowers when a blizzard is forecast. Car Dealerships: feature sales or pique interest with something new every weekend. Radio Stations: promote your personalities and songs that are now playing. Hardware Stores: promote auxiliary generators if severe weather is forecast. Entertainment Venues: promote ticket sales for your most current events. We want to show you how digital advertising can work for you...

DIGITAL OUTDOOR VS OTHER MEDIA With CDN, change your messages easily and quickly without the expense or production time associated with vinyl billboards. Digital artwork is uploaded into our software and transmitted to the board via a high speed internet connection. You decide what time of day your ads run, targeting your message to the audience much like radio and TV advertisers. Digital outdoor offers many unique selling points that you won t find in broadcast or print: You can change artwork with practically no lead time. Passing drivers can t avoid the ad by changing the channel or fast-forwarding through a commercial. Digital billboard cost per impression is significantly lower than all other competing media. You can appeal to drivers in a position to buy immediately. That proximity to purchase is a core benefit of outdoor advertising. With digital billboards, reaching a consumer costs significantly less than broadcast and print. Many advertisers aren t maximizing or even using-- outdoor because traditional billboards don t offer the time-sensitive, flexible advertising opportunities of digital outdoor. Digital outdoor is a viable solution for businesses of any size. Digital billboards are the most affordable, most flexible and most targeted of any mass media. This means businesses of nearly any size are potential customers for digital billboards. Digital outdoor is a sound investment. Digital outdoor is an efficient investment on several fronts. It doesn t require highcost production fees, dayparting provides a cost effective ad buy, and the average CPI (Cost Per Impression) of digital outdoor is very competitive with other mass media. Cost per 1000 Impressions: $27.70 TELEVISION :30 LATE FRINGE NETWORK $26.57 TELEVISION :30 PRIMETIME NETWORK $25.40 TELEVISION :30 EARLY NEWS NETWORK $24.95 NEWSPAPER 1/3 PAGE, BLACK AND WHITE $15.60 TELEVISION :30 EARLY AM NETWORK $11.75 RADIO :30 SPOT $9.95 RADIO :30 NETWORK $2-3 DIGITAL BILLBOARD 14X48 Source: Arbitron

DIGITAL OUTDOOR IS MORE TARGETED AND HARDER TO IGNORE. Consumer behavior is changing and opening up a new media opportunity for advertisers. Canadians are spending more time in their cars than ever before, and travellers tend to follow the same routes each day. This means we spend less time consuming traditional media. As the audience for traditional media dwindles, the cost of advertising with them remains high. Advertisers want to make sure they invest their budget most efficiently and reach the right audience. With an extensive network of digital billboards, we can give you the reach and relevancy of media, like TV and radio, at a competitive cost. Digital billboards hold a unique advantage. Unlike TV and radio, your digital billboard audience can t switch the channel or skip the ads. Unlike the internet, there are no pop-up blockers or delivery filters. Positive reactions to digital advertising: In an American survey, participants said advertising in this medium: Captures their attention. Is a good way to learn about new products. Prompts them to act after seeing an ad.
