2 READY TO CHANGE THE GAME? Held between September 2017, Challenge 4 Change is a week-long nationwide fundraising event that encourages everyday Australians, schools, sporting clubs, celebrities, and organisations to complete a point-to-point activity challenge using non-motorised transport all in the name of raising awareness of mental wellbeing.

3 LET S GET TO THE POINT... Performing at a high level for long periods of time can have its moments, however one of the side effects that many players at all levels can experience is anxiety, stress and depression. Throughout my career I have witnessed top sports people experiencing periods of negativity and depression, which ultimately test their ability to perform at their best. More education and support is needed within sport of all codes and especially with young aspiring athletes to provide avenues to access help. It can be the difference between a successful career or someone turning away because of unassisted road blocks. Challenge4Change is the first event of its kind I know of that tackles the issues of depression, stress and anxiety through an accessible community format. I am honoured to be an ambassador for this annual event series along with the other ambassadors. Sport, fitness and physical activity have become an intrinsic part of the Australian lifestyle and one that we are here to encourage through our challenge. This may help recharge a passion you once had, help you to reach out within your team or get involved to raise money for family or friends who struggle in these areas. I look forward to setting out on this journey with you to tackle mental health. 4 ...all in the name of raising funds and awareness towards positive mental wellbeing... HOW IT ALL WORKS. From pogo sticking between two pubs to running a marathon with mates to simply stepping out with your family, Challenge 4 Change is a Virtual Fundraising Challenge with a simple premise Select a starting line, a finish line and a creative mode of non- motorised transport. Select the cause of your choice (either one of our featured charities or a local community initiative). Then complete your challenge anytime between September with people from your community.

5 EASY ACCESS. There s no limit to how crazy or creative the challenge can be as long as it involves completing a point-to-point journey without any form of motorised transport during September 11 - September 17. Participants sign up on our Challenge 4 Change website powered by everydayhero. Includes name, age, location and social media contact details for use in direct marketing. They fill in their point-topoint challenge and setup up their own personal fundraising page. Then choose whether to support our featured charities or nominate a cause of their own. Once the setup is complete they can use our easy social media tools to start raising support for their event. To drive further reach, Social Sharing of challenges will be highly encouraged with prizes for the funniest and the most money raised.

10 TECHNOLOGY. Challenge 4 Change utilises mobile GPS technology for teams to be able to map out their course and track their progress. It also enables supporters to view participants activity and encourage them in reaching the ultimate course goal. The Challenge 4 Change website has been designed and supported by Everydayhero which will provide easy access for users and supporters to donate and follow the journey.
