2 A Message from our 2018 President, Mandy Brown Dear Friends, You are invited to Celebrate! by sponsoring SITE SoCal s 20th Annual Holiday Event & Charity Auction and our beloved SITE SoCal Chapter, also celebrating its 20 th year as part of the SITE global community. SITE SoCal was approved as an active chapter by SITE s International Board of Directors in December, 1997, with 1998 being SITE SoCal s first full year of activity. In December, 1999 SITE SoCal held the first annual Holiday Event, and this year we will Celebrate! on Coronado Island at the fabulous Loews Coronado Bay Resort as the host property. Our exciting agenda also features activities hosted at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado and Coronado Island Marriott Hotel & Spa. Our award-winning Holiday Event is an important gathering for our chapter. It has evolved into our main flagship fundraiser for the year, providing the chapter with the means to donate to the designated carefully-selected grass roots charities. Our contributions to these small non-profits make a huge impact on the services they can provide, and we thank you for helping make it possible.
