The event auction program is developed for newspappers. More than 80 newspapers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Australia, South Africa and New Zeeland have staged auction with ENC

5 WHAT IS IT ABOUT? Local: The net auction is an auction website, launched in the advertiser s market area and to the to the entire readership. Brand-new products: The net auction only promotes brandnew branded products from local companies. We do not accept used products and do not allow individuals to advertise. The net auction: The actual auction takes place on the internet. But the launch occurs in a variety of media, including an auction catalogue that distributes together with the newspaper. The catalogue is also displayed at other venues.

The advertisers delivers the agreed products or services and gets advertising space in return The winning bidders pays directly to the newspaper and collect the product or service at the advertiser The advertiser gets advertising space corresponding to the retail value of the product or service when it is sold in the auction If the product or service did not sell the advertiser do not get any advertising space The reserve price is 50 or 70% of the retail value

Existing advertisers have to use the advertising space in existing contracts before using the extra advertising space. So, if they have advertised for the same period the year before they have to advertise for the advertising credit from the auction.
