Our mission is to provide knowledge, support and opportunities to enable members to strategically grow their businesses. WHAT WE DO EEEGR is a key voice for the sector, putting the region and its expertise on the radar of major international players and influential politicians at regional and national levels. EEEGR also has close links with educational and training institutions, through the Skills for Energy (SfE) programme. This programme helps to ensure students, courses and training facilities are tailored to meet the future needs of the energy industry.

EEEGR will bring more than 200 representatives from the East of England s energy sector together with key politicians to reinforce the region s key role in contributing to Britain s economy. 9 Offshore Wind Week EEEGR is delighted to be able to announce that it will, once again, be working with RenewableUK, the main offshore wind operators in our region and other stakeholders in celebrating Offshore Wind Week with the bespoke East Anglian event taking place on November 22nd and 23rd at OrbisEnergy in Lowestoft. Skills provision will also be high on the agenda with presentations and case studies from the regions apprentices, schools, colleges and universities as well as commercial skills providers. 10 Skills for Energy Building on the huge success of last year s event, Skills for Energy 2017, when more than 400 students and teachers connected with energy employers, our next event, Skills for Energy 2018, will take place on 28th November 2018 at the International Aviation Academy Norwich (IAAN). This event will be designed to feed the increasing appetite among young people to explore the full range of training and career opportunities in the energy industry and how to access them. It will provide a unique opportunity to talk directly to and inspire potential employees and showcase companies investment in young people and the future. Feedback from students and teachers from last year s event was incredibly positive, so please help us to make this year s event bigger, better and even more inspirational for our future workforce.
