1 Previous Sponsors 2015 Opportunities for Sponsorship Throughout February, more than 300 students will compete in their state s Collegiate Cyber Defense Compe on. Two year and fouryear college and university cyber security students form teams to compete in this elite compe on. These teams will defend and build their mock produc on business infrastructure from professional hackers who are given the challenge to take each team s produc on systems offline and breach their security. The winning teams from each state will compete at the Midwest Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Compe on (MWCCDC) at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL on March 27 and 28. The winner of that compe on will be compe ng at the 2015 Na onal CCDC in April 2015, in San Antonio, Texas. To sponsor the MWCCDC, please contact Lynn Dohm at lynn.dohm@morainevalley.edu or

On March 27 th, CSSIA will be hos ng a Career Fair that will allow sponsors to be the first to interview and observe all MWCCDC teams. This will give students the opportunity to become aware of the jobs available to them in addi on to allowing the sponsors to observe, interview and recruit during the event. Sponsors will be given a resume booklet to review while going through a speed interviewing process with par cipants. A er mini interviews, there will be a dinner networking event. Once the compe on begins, sponsors will be given private tours during the event to observe poten al employees in ac on. Sponsors and supporters play a very large role in cyber security compe ons whether it is the dona on of money, me, hardware, so ware, or other inkind dona ons. The students that come to the MWCCDC are truly the best and the brightest. The cyber defense compe on challenges them with the latest and greatest technologies. Without sponsorships this would be nearly impossible. CSSIA relies on sources of support to help the compe on grow and keeping the compe on a top notch event that offers great opportunity and experience to the par cipa ng teams.
