This event celebrates a strong group of exceptional individuals that have exhibited outstanding performance both professionally and in their community. Every year, the Washington Business Journal receives over 200 nominations for this program. Washington Business Journal follows the SBA definition of minority which is the following: An individual with at least 25% Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic or Native American heritage. This fun and energetic program is the highlight of the summer! Honorees for this program are determined based on a quantitative survey administered by the third party company, Quantum Workplace. Each year we get over 350 nominations! Employees are asked to rank their company on items such as team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders and co-workers, manager effectiveness, communication, work-life balance and alignment with company goals. 17 Fastest Growing Companies Tentative Date: October 24, 2019 Awards Reception & Dinner R Nominations close: June 1, 2019 The Fastest Growing Companies Awards honors companies with the highest average percentage of revenue growth over a three year period. These companies represent various industries and show a true dedication to growing their business. Honorees for this program are chosen based on information from a survey provided to Washington Business Journal s Research Director. Companies under consideration must have a minimum of $2 million in revenue in 2015 and a minimum of $10 million in revenue in 2018 to qualify for the 2019 program.
