1 Our Mission The Atlanta Moon Ride is an annual 6.5 mile nighttime bike ride that gives people of all ages and skill levels an opportunity to safely ride the streets of Atlanta with an Atlanta Police Department escort. The event is held in June each year and all proceeds benefit Bert s Big Adventure, a local non-profit organization that provides an all-expense-paid trip to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illness and their families.

2 The Ride Since its 2013 inception, the Moon Ride has grown over 85% and has quickly become one of Atlanta s most anticipated events of the year. 3 Pre-Party Participants are encouraged to come early and enjoy all that Piedmont Park has to offer. 4 The Cause 100% of the proceeds from this ride go to an awesome local charity, Bert s Big Adventure. Bert s Big Adventure is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, allexpenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. Following the annual trip, Bert s Big Adventure provides year-round support through initiatives such as the Reunion Adventures, the Fairy Godparent volunteer program and additional charitable services. $15,000 average cost to send family of 4 to Disney on BBA trip $200,000+ in charitable donations to Bert s Big Adventure since 2013
