There are two kinds of display ads. Local display advertising is found in the Main News, Neighbors and Sports sections. Classified display ads are located in the back of the newspaper on the classified page. Advertisers may submit an ad ready to use, or have an ad designed by. Ads submitted for publication must be built to newspaper specifications. 4 DEADLINES & POLICIES Advertising Deadlines Our deadline for display advertising is Noon, Friday before publication date. The deadline for classified advertising is Thursday at 4:30 p.m. The deadline for Obituaries is 4:00 p.m. Sunday before publication date. While we ll try to assist you if you have any last minute additions, deletions or changes, we cannot guarantee changes requested after the deadline. Advertising Policies reserves the right to edit or reject any advertising. must be notified of any errors in an advertisement before the next edition deadline. If the mistake is ours, we will publish a correction equivalent to the size of the error. Advance payment made for advertising which is inadvertently left out will be refunded. The newspaper's liability is limited to the refund of unused advertising dollars. Requests for tearsheets must be made at the time the ad is placed. Advertising Terms Prepayment is required for all ads for all customers unless credit has been established beforehand. Acceptable payment methods are cash, check or credit card. While a credit rating can sometimes be provided within a few hours, please allow up to 5 days to receive your current credit rating.
