2 OVERVIEW One of Southern California s largest Three-Day Spring Festivals, Carnaval Primavera Downtown Festival is presented in the month of April. The major Hispanic Market event attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees to the downtown area. Carnaval Primavera offers a large Hispanic Market for Corporations to promote their services and products, with over 100 corporate exhibits, retail commercial booths, food, arts & crafts, a free health fair, children s mask contest, a main stage for live entertainment and two areas of amusement rides for all ages.

3 FEATURED SPECIAL GUESTS Since its original presentation, Carnaval Primavera Downtown Festival every year recognizes a special guest/celebrity of the Hispanic Entertainment Business as the King or Queen. Each guest is presented an official plaque by the Chamber of Commerce and a commemorative key to the City by the Mayor and City Council. Some of the honored guests in past years were: Actor/ Producer Carlos Ponce, Singer Marisela, Actor Eduardo Yanez, Singer Beatriz Adriana, El Chapo De Sinaloa, Rafael Amaya and many others.

4 EVENT DEMOGRAPHICS Carnaval Primavera - Downtown Festival currently attracts in excess of 100,000 people during its three-day presentation. The Festival is created on four-continuous downtown city-blocks and four side-streets along Pacific Blvd. in Huntington Park, California, five-miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Through our annual family surveys, it is reflected that the attendees travel to the annual Festival from the counties of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Ventura and Orange. The average attendee travels to the Festival within a 40-mile radius.

5 EVENT DEMOGRAPHICS CONT D Twenty-three percent (23%) of the Festival attendees are between the ages of 22 to 35. Twenty-eight percent (28%) of the attendees are between 36 to 55 years of age. The majority of the individuals attending is female. An average family of four members attends the Festival, with a median household-income of $34, The free-of-charge Festival is open to the public. To those attending, it provides numerous free services that include health-examinations, nutrition information and family planning.

Major sponsors of the Carnaval Primavera - Downtown Festival vary each year from those competing for either an Exclusive or Semi-Exclusive level of exposure to the basic Corporate- Participant. The Semi-Exclusive sponsors are positioned on opposite venue-sites of the four-block festival.
