2 Gundagai is delighted to host the 2018 Australian Local Government Women s Association (ALGWA) NSW Branch Annual Conference from Thursday 15 th Saturday 17 th March 2018 at the Gundagai District Services Club. Each year the conference attracts approximately 150 Councillors, local governemt leaders and professionals from across New South Wales for the 3 day event. The ALGWA conference provides an opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas, network, debate and engage in cross-council collaboration on issues affecting women in local government. Aims and Objectives of ALGWA: To assist furthering women s knowledge and understanding of the function of local government. To protect and enhance the interests and rights of women in local government. To take action in relation to any subject or activity of particular interest to women affecting local governing bodies and/or local government legislation. To act in an advisory capacity to intending women candidates for local government elections. To encourage women into professional careers in local government. The 2018 conference theme is Celebrating Rural Women. The event will focus on supporting understanding the constraints that women in local government face in rural and remote communities. 7 TERMS & CONDITIONS The details in this document are correct at the time of printing. Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council does not accept responsibility for any changes that may occur. Please note that the delegate list will only include contact details of those delegates who have given consent for the release of their demographic information, as per Australian policy laws. Placement and size of logos included in the Conference material will be at the discretion of 2018 ALGWA NSW Events Team and will reflect the level of support given by your organisation. All signage will be designed to suit the requirements of the venue. All company representatives must complete a Conference registration form (for name tag purposes). All company representatives attending and participating in the Conference must register and pay the nominated sponsor registration fee. Some packages include sponsor registrations in which case this fee is not payable, however a completed registration form is still required. Sponsor registrations include a nametag, Conference satchel, day catering (M/T Lunch and A/T) during Conference hours and some social functions. A completed and signed Sponsorship Confirmation Form must be submitted to initiate sponsorship. A Tax Invoice will be provided upon receipt of confirmation form. Placement within the Conference trade display area is at the discretion of the organisers who may make changes at any time due to logistics and safety reasons or otherwise. CANCELLATION POLICY Once sponsorship is confirmed. Due to the considerable administration associated with this Conference, a cancellation fee equivalent to 50%of the full payment amount will be incurred should confirmed agreements be cancelled prior to 20 December Cancellations after 20 December 2017, confirmed sponsors will pay a cancellation fee equal to 100%of the full payment amount of the confirmed agreement.
