8 Artwork Requirements Palmetto Parent prefers all ad submissions to be a high-resolution PDF file at 300 DPI and in CMYK format. ONLY cover ads need bleeds and/or crop marks. The following files are also accepted but not encouraged:.tiff,.jpg,.eps, (Illustrator).ai, (Photoshop).psd, (InDesign).indd and (Quark).qxd. Line art should be at least 1200 DPI. Fonts should be embedded and all images converted to CMYK with a resolution of 300 DPI. Spot colors and RGB files are NOT accepted. Built blacks will not reproduce well on newsprint use only 100% black for any text or artwork intended to print black. Ad files NOT accepted: Pagemaker, Corel Draw, Freehand, Word Perfect, MS Word, Publisher, PowerPoint and Excel.
