4 ARTIST OVERVIEW Rheebongs is a Rapper and self-taught Hip Hop Producer from Cape Town. Born in Johannesburg and fell in love with Hip Hop during his High school days, he started writing and rapping in He is considered as one of the Pioneers of Spaza music, as he has made a name for himself in and around Cape Town as well as country wide. He is a co-founder of M4M Records, an independent record label based in Cape Town where produces his music and developing young and aspiring musical talent. THE TEAM We are a team of 5 individuals and we all have faith in our artist. Rheebongs (The artist), Madira (Public Relations), Siya (General Management), Murusu (Event Organiser) and Emma (Digital Distribution). Currently we have a team process where before we release a song, we first have a listening session as the team, from there we decide whether the song is good enough to be out on radio or not. If it is, Madira and Siya ensure that we get all the IRSI numbers for the song and approach radio stations for interviews, submissions and TV appearances. We also decide whether a music video will be shot for it, that s where Luke Daniels comes in. If the song is a promo or for sale, Emma will ensure that the song is uploaded and purchasable on Bozza.mobi. Murusu from Kaofela connects a Joburg based events company where they put me on big events around Gauteng and promote the single or any project I ve got going on. We also have a street team where we have about 100 people, a Spaza Music Crew on a WhatsApp group where we reach over a million Spaza music audiences. We update them of anything new and interesting. then ask them to create hype and share posts on social networks. PUBLICITY Normally, before we release a song, we create hype for about a month before the release date for the song. We will do this simply by having lined up interviews of selected Radio Stations, approach online magazines and print media as well as releasing a single that we will use as promo song. PRINT ADVERTISING We will make use of national and regional print media such as (National) Daily Sun, Daily Dispatch, Citizen, Sowetan and Sunday World etc. and regional Newspapers such as Athlone News, Vukani, Paarl Post, City Vision, Express etc. some of which have published and covered stories about Rheebongs before. RADIO AND TV Interviews and Radio tours will be secured prior the release date on major Radio Station Hip Hop shows such as 5fm, UJFM, Mhlobo WeneneFM, GoodhopeFM as well as on TV Music program such as Live Amp, ETV on ShizzNiz, Expresso, HecticNine9 etc. Rheebongs has been to a few TV shows such as Expresso on SABC3, Ekse on CTV and Hectic Nine9 on SABC2.

6 ONLINE AND SOCIAL MEDIA We will create a YouTube advertisement video; 1 minute video will be shot and edited. The video will contain relevant details such as where and when will the song be available, features and other info. The video will be uploaded on YouTube, Bozza.mobi and shared on social media such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Both Rheebongs Twitter and Facebook accounts posts will be sponsored prior the Single release dates to boost the audience reach. Plan is to get the music to digital on itunes and other digital platforms unless we dropping as a free download. Merchandise Rheebongs ilokishi merchandise will be available for sale to purchase. Vests DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION Currently Rheebongs digital distributor is Bozza.mobi, selling music on Bozza store where fans can sms a key number to purchase a song at the cost of R7.50. Bozza stores selling music to Europe, USA, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and South Africa with credit cards. African music store is the physical retail store which is situated in Cape Town. The goal is to get the music to reach as many people as possible. The ideal plan is to get the music to digital streams itunes and other digital platforms unless we dropping as a free download.
