It really was an incredible experience for us as a team. The response from students to us was really positive - REDFROG The event was a great success and a fantastic way to launch our brand - UGOT The location and size of our stall was great and we had plenty of space around us for people to stop and chat. - MADHYAMAKA WELCOME BAGS PRODUCT - Insert your product or merchandise into 4,000 welcome bags given out to first year students at welcome talks ( 250). Between them, they have ensured that York has the most awarded student media in the UK. 8 EVENTS & COMPETITIONS EVENTS SPONSORSHIP - YUSU organises the biggest events on campus, attracting lots of attention in the build up and having thousands of students in attendance. Sponsoring one of these events therefore guarantees fantastic brand exposure. Live & Loud is the biggest night of Freshers week. This festival-style event has loads of live music and outdoor attractions, last year headlined by DJ Fresh. Summer Ball is the biggest event of the whole year. This sophisticated black-tie end of year event at York Racecourse has great live music, fairground rides, red carpet reception, arcade games and much more. RAG RAFFLES RAG is the charity wing of YUSU, it has the largest membership and online reach of any society on campus as well as the most popular events. They can promote your business in return for a donation of your product or merchandise towards a RAG Raffle. Any monetary donations are also much appreciated. BESPOKE ONLINE GIVEAWAYS Run online competitions to our 12,000+ Facebook & 9,200+ Twitter followers (Product & Social Media Fees from 50). 08 Comedy Nights We host a number of Comedy Nights throughout the year, in association with Comedy Central. Big names such as Seann Walsh, Josh Widdicombe and Romesh Ranganathan ensure these events always sell out. Woodstock is a 12 hour musical festival in aid if RAG featuring two different stages and plenty of performances from our student societies. College Varsity is the first inter-university sports tournament of its kind. The College teams of York and Durham do battle to find out which university is the best at College Sport! College Varsity will take place in York Feb/March 2016 and attracts hundreds of competitors and spectators. PLEASE NOTE: All prices do not include VAT.
