7 Guidelines How do I accumulate funds to reimburse up to 60% of my approved, paid advertising expenses? 1. Aprilaire Partners in Comfort members are eligible for reimbursement of 60% of approved advertising expenses. Up to $1,200 per year! Not a Member? Visit AprilairePartners.com to join for free. These funds become available for reimbursement after you pay for approved advertising and you submit the expenses to Aprilaire. Claims are processed within 30 business days of the receipt. 2. Additional reimbursement funds are available equal to 3% of all Aprilaire product purchases during the Co-op year. For example, if you submit a statement for $50,000 in purchases, we ll add $1,500 to your available Co-op advertising reimbursement fund ($50,000 x.03). a. Copies of numbered invoices or a report from your Aprilaire distributor showing Aprilaire product purchases. What are the advertising guidelines? 1. Use any artwork or ads provided by Aprilaire and no further approval is necessary. You can customize Aprilaire artwork with your logo, offer and contact information. Any other creative should be submitted for approval prior to advertising. Approved materials are available at AprilairePartners.com or by contacting Aprilaire at or ads@aprilaire.com. We will reply to pre-approvals within two business days. 2. We will reimburse 60% of the cost you paid for approved advertising when using Aprilaire artwork, provided you have the funds accrued. 3. Drop-In ads or create-your-own - To incorporate Aprilaire into your existing ad space, use our suggested drop-in artwork. From your available funds, Aprilaire will reimburse 60% of the cost of the space within your ad that is devoted to the Aprilaire message. Minimum requirements for approval of ads are all of the following: a. Aprilaire name and/or correct logo b. Correct product name c. At least one product feature, benefit and/or solution statement d. Your offer and/or call-to-action Media Choices Digital Media - Digital content is provided to drop into your website, s, social posts and online advertising. Social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn offer tremendous opportunities for targeting and engaging with potential customers in your area. You can either share content from Aprilaire s social channels, or utilize the drop-in artwork and copy examples provided in our social media content. Make sure to limit your targeting to a maximum of a 15-mile radius around your location in order to minimize the potential for competitive bidding with other partners. (Note: pay-per-click advertising is not eligible for reimbursement). Broad reach - Choose media that reaches a broad audience, such as radio, TV, Internet (paid banner ads and outbound or e-newsletter campaigns using Aprilaire artwork and/or messaging), leased billboards, newspaper and magazines. Targeted - Choose targeted media such as direct mail, newsletters, shoppers or coupon flyers that are distributed to your customers or a specific targeted area in your market. Advertising for special events - Your opportunity to tell your message directly to homeowners and brand yourself as the expert! Product displays or point-of-purchase items are available at cost. Visit AprilairePartners.com. Advertising for the event that includes an Aprilaire message is also eligible for reimbursement. (Overhead costs including booth space, shipping, rental, etc. are not eligible). Media not supported - At this time, Aprilaire does not reimburse for Yellow Page Directories, Internet Pay-Per-Click (Google AdWords), SEO, SEM, banners or web hosting of your own site, online directory listings like Angie s List, YP, Yelp, displaying products at home shows or voic on hold messaging. Your own billboard, signage, building or vehicle signage, apparel, logo-ware and ad specialties are not eligible for reimbursement. The Co-op year is from March 1, 2018 February 28, Submit all claims by March 31, Please note that any unused advertising funds cannot be carried over to the next year. Current pricing is available online. We process claims in accrual within 30 business days of receiving it.
