3 About the QBA The Queensland Band Association's aim is to provide leadership and direction that will enable Queensland Bands (Brass and Concert) to achieve their maximum potential. The goals of the QBA are: encourage member bands to attain and maintain the highest musical standard possible. to strive to consolidate and advance the interest, ideals, and welfare of bands to their common advantage. stimulate public demand for, and public acceptance of bands and band music by conducting public recitals and contests, maintain and extend the knowledge of all band persons through competition and training. 3 P a g e

5 Other Sponsorship Opportunities * In-Kind Opportunities Many of our sponsors are able to provide us with great products and services in exchange for sponsorship recognition! If you are interested in adding in-kind value to your cash sponsorship or providing a full in-kind sponsorship, please contact admin2019@nationalbandchampionships.com.au. Examples of in-kind items received in the past include: Trophies, Gift Cards, Product and Goody Bags, Instruments, Prizes for junior players etc. * Custom Opportunities Companies who are willing to offer a service, discount or product that will assist in the running of the event are welcomed. The majority of bands from interstate will arrive by plane and will require accommodation close to the venue and may require mini bus/car hire over this Easter period. A survey, conducted prior to last year s National Championships in Launceston, found that several hundreds of hire days was not an unreasonable estimate. * Individual event sponsorship (incl. Champion of Champion events) $ If you or your company have a particular interest in any event/s throughout the championships and would like to individually sponsor this event, please feel free to request a list of events to see which ones are still available. Individual sponsorships for band, solo and junior events attract the same level of benefit as a Bronze Sponsor. *Just Trade - $1,500 For those wishing to conduct a trade stand at the Championships, this will provide the opportunity to promote your product, event or service to hundreds of musicians, band supporters and the general public over the four days of the event. All trade stands will operate for three days (Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday) based in one venue. Trestle table(s) will be available by prior arrangement, with stand priority given to Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsors. * Platinum Sponsors Feel free to come and discuss any options or offers.
