2 Dear Friend of CRC, For struggling families with children, seniors and those in crisis, the challenges of daily living make it difficult to experience the joy of the holiday season. This holiday season, you can help bring joy to over 6,000 children, seniors, survivors of domestic violence and those in greatest need in our community. Community Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) charitable tax-exempt organization. Federal Tax ID #: Second St. Encinitas, CA CRCNCC.org YOU can help provide gifts and spread holiday cheer to children, seniors and families who need it the most at Community Resource Center s 36th Annual Program. is a free three-day dignified shopping experience serving over 6,000 people, including low-income households (approximately 3,000 children), seniors and survivors of domestic violence. Participants receive a holiday meal including chicken or turkey, food staples, infant and toddler items, outerwear and a few gifts to brighten their holidays. Families can also utilize Community Resource Center s valuable resources and services to help ensure a better tomorrow, as we work to end hunger, homelessness and domestic violence in our community. Your sponsorship will help so many in need, and can help fulfill your corporate responsibility goals, demonstrate your community support and increase company awareness and brand goodwill in the community. 4 ... BRINGS HOLIDAY JOY TO OVER 6,000 PEOPLE IN NEED David and his two boys participated in in David s son, Alex, was especially grateful for his new bike. He was able to ride to school and his job, where he earns money to help support his family. As a single dad, David comes to CRC weekly for food. He says, I ve been able to feed my kids and they have been able to focus on school. This fall, Alex will be the first member of David s family to attend college! David says, CRC has been a blessing.
