2 What is SAABI? SAABI stands for the Southern African Association for the Balloon Industry. The objects of the Association are: i.) To create a platform which would be conducive to consolidating the balloon industry on professionalism and high standards ii.) To facilitate the creation of viable business structures within the Balloon Industry; iii.) To encourage a service oriented environment; iv.) To encourage continued and modern training; v.) To ensure a superlative delivery to the public. Benefits Exclusivity in an area to be agreed upon during negotiations. Members are not limited to operate within their own areas and are free to conduct or accept business within any other area. Members will however not pursue aggressive marketing campaigns within another member's area. Members will benefit from all referrals and deals negotiated through SAABI within their particular areas. Benefit from our Balloon Bouquet Delivery services website: all orders received for delivery within your area will be forwarded to you, and you will receive the full transaction amount. Only members of SAABI will feature and benefit from this service and website. SAABI will pro-actively recruit clients and negotiate deals on a national or regional level for the benefit of all SAABI members. All such orders will be forwarded to each member within the particular area along with all information and requirements needed to complete the transaction. All SAABI members & their staff will receive complete & intensive one-on-one training, covering all practical aspects of the balloon trade as well as in-depth theoretical information regarding marketing, sales, costing and systems especially developed for the balloon industry. Members get a comprehensive web site listing allowing you to categorise your services, with direct links to your own website/s.
