9 Bike Valet Festival attendees are encouraged to travel to the Festival using a sustainable mode of transit. For the hundreds of attendees who cycle to the Festival, free bike valet parking is provided by our partner, Trailnet. A second valet location was added in 016 to meet the demand of the hundreds who use this service. 11 The Recycling Extravaganza, a one-stop collection event for hard-to-recycle items, will be the kick-off event for Earth Month. This popular annual event moved to the beginning of April in 016 to avoid conflicts with the Festival. 749 vehicles unloaded in only 4 hours in 017. After dropping off donations, participants can grab a bite to eat or drink, and pick up promotional materials for the Earth Day Festival. Donated materials are repurposed or recycled by participating for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Event will be held Sunday April 8th.
