1 Sponsorship Opportunities The Ehlers-Danlos Society is a global community of patients, caregivers, health care professionals, and supporters, dedicated to saving and improving the lives of those affected by the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes and related disorders. We support collaborative research and education initiatives, awareness campaigns, advocacy, community-building, and care for the EDS and HSD population. Our goals are world-wide awareness and a better quality of life for all who suffer from these conditions. Our strength begins with hope. The Ehlers-Danlos Society is focused on making a real difference for those living with EDS. The Global Learning Conference is the highlight of our year, and is far more than just a series of seminars. One of our EDS friends explained it this way: The Learning Conference is the one place I go where my disease isn t invisible, and where everybody I talk to understands. The 2017 Global Learning Conference attracted more than 700 individuals from around the world, including top physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and families with EDS. This year s should be even larger. Attendees this year will gather in Baltimore to share the latest information about EDS and learn about the new products and services available to help their patients.
