2 WELCOME Thank you for your interest in sponsorship opportunities with the Section of Taxation. More than 17,000 lawyers, law students and tax professionals are members of the Section of Taxation, one of the ABA s largest sections. MEET US The Section of Taxation puts a wide variety of resources and information at the fingertips of its members and the public. Over 10,000 of the Section s members are in private practice, 1,100 are in-house counsel and another 300 are working in government agencies. In addition, almost 25% of the Section s membership comes from firms of over 100 employees, while another 23% come from firms of 1-20 employees. The Section brings all of these individuals together at its meetings to exchange ideas and information and to network. OUR MISSION The mission of the ABA Section of Taxation is to serve our members and the public by providing education about taxes and tax systems, and by providing leadership to support the development of an equitable, efficient and workable tax system. OUR GOALS To promote diversity and inclusion in the tax profession. To serve as the national representative of the legal profession with regard to the tax system. To improve public understanding of, confidence in, and respect for, the tax system. To provide leadership in simplifying and improving the tax system. To provide unbiased, thoughtful and timely input into the legislative and administrative process. To promote and maintain an active, vigorous, growing and interested Section membership. To provide programs and services of unique quality which promote professionalism, competence and ethical conduct. To provide a national forum for communication among Section members and interchange with the public sector... The Section has played a critical role in my development and growth as a tax lawyer. All of the Section members and staff with whom I have worked and all of the committees and projects with which I have been involved have left an indelible and salutary imprint on me. 5 PLATINUM SPONSOR $20,000 (* Select one) HOSPITALITY AREA The Hospitality Area is open and available on Friday and Saturday to all attendees. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, as well as, other snacks and beverages throughout the day. The Hospitality Area is centrally located, which makes it easy for the sponsor to network with attendees and invited guests. The sponsor will have the opportunity to provide a video presentation to be shown in the Hospitality Area - the presentation will be produced by the sponsor and pre-approved by the ABA. SECTION RECEPTION The Section Reception is a dynamic ticketed event held on Friday evening. The reception provides attendees an opportunity to network with colleagues, friends, Section leadership, government speakers and other industry leaders. The Sponsor of this event has the opportunity to provide a giveaway to reception attendees. This reception serves over three hundred attendees. The sponsor will receive recognition and an opportunity to make remarks at the opening of the event. SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES GOLD SPONSOR $15,000 (* Select One) WELCOME RECEPTION The Welcome Reception is a complimentary reception held on Thursday evening and open to all attendees. The sponsor will receive recognition during opening remarks. SECTION PLENARY LUNCHEON The Section Plenary Luncheon is one of the last opportunities to network with attendees prior to the closing of the meeting. The Section Plenary Luncheon features a high-profile keynote speaker to address over three hundred attendees. The sponsor will receive recognition during opening remarks and seating at a VIP table. MOBILE APPLICATION The sponsor of this amenity will have a strong presence throughout the Mobile Application used by attendees via mobile devices. The sponsor will be able to send alerts and have a banner ad. SILVER SPONSOR $15,000 (* Select One) REGISTRATION BADGE LANYARDS The sponsor s logo will be featured on the badge lanyards provided to all attendees at registration. This sponsorship is highly visible throughout the meeting. MEETING BAGS The sponsor name and logo will be featured on the meeting bags provided to all attendees. The bags must be approved by ABA prior to the meeting. The sponsor will have the opportunity to include collateral materials inside the meetings bags for maximum exposure to attendees.

Sponsors will be able to create their own content for the forum provided there is no conflict with a topic on the meeting agenda. The sponsor will be responsible for the cost of food & beverage, audio-visual, and room set-up requirements. MOBILE CHARGING STATION The Charging Station or Locker is an opportunity to provide an invaluable service to attendees with this exclusive branding opportunity. The Charging Station provides attendees with an easy, secure way to charge their handheld devices, tablets and laptops. This opportunity is highly visible with a location in a high traffic area. Your logo will be clearly visible on the charging station and collateral materials or a premium giveaway can also be provided. PRINT KIOSK Printers are available to all attendees to print meeting materials. The sponsor will have the opportunity to provide paper with its logo. Signage with sponsor logo will be posted at location of the print kiosk. LAW STUDENT REGISTRATION BOOTH A separate registration booth designed specifically for Law Students to check-in for the conference, ask questions, and serves as a hub for Students throughout the conference. The booth is staffed and the sponsor has the opportunity to provide collateral materials and/or premiums/giveaways to be handed to law students upon check in. The sponsor will also receive recognition on a sign directly adjacent to the booth. Please inquire with us about upgrade options for this booth HOTEL KEY CARD You hold the key! The hotel key card will feature a message and the sponsor s logo. This is a great opportunity to be at everyone s fingertips. The sponsor assumes all costs associated with design, production, and shipping. HOSPITALITY STATION This sponsorship offers the opportunity to provide attendees with an upgraded hospitality station during the conference. These options can include a waffle station, barista coffee station, or an ice cream break. This option is purchased per station, per day, and time period (i.e. Friday afternoon). This is a great way to make a positive and lasting impression on attendees. The sponsor will have the option to provide custom cocktail napkins, cups, or a giveaway of their own choosing. CONFERENCE SUPPORTER $2,500 (*Select One) FINAL PROGRAM The sponsor will be recognized on the front exterior cover of the final program which appears online and is printed for distribution onsite. The sponsor also has the opportunity to provide a sponsor message or branding for the back exterior cover of the final program. LAW STUDENT PROGRAM The sponsor will be recognized on the front exterior cover of the law student program which is printed for distribution to law student attendees onsite.
