8 8 Sponsorship Application Procedures Sponsorship Reservations Sponsorships are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmations of all sponsorships are subject to GII s internal vetting process, and sponsors must agree to abide by GII sponsorship terms and conditions by reviewing and signing a GII Sponsorship Agreement. Payment Full payment is due for all à la carte sponsorships once a reservation is confirmed via the GII Sponsorship Agreement. Through its network of 165 member organizations, Goodwill inspires hope and self-confidence, helping people from all backgrounds and walks of life to feel successful, valuable and dignified. Goodwill helps people earn livings, improve their lives, and strengthen their families and their communities. Goodwill Career Fairs Goodwill creates a variety of opportunities to help the people it serves gain and maintain valuable employment. Local Goodwill agencies often host career fairs in their communities; some are small, intimate hiring events to introduce employers to new graduates of Goodwill training programs; some are large and open to the public. Regardless of size, these events are designed to create maximum access to successful employment outcomes for job seekers and employers alike. Introducing Goodwill s Virtual Career Fairs To supplement on-the-ground career fairs, GII will hold its second annual virtual career fair in May The virtual career fair allows employers to refine their recruiting strategies, expand their candidate pools, and reach candidates who may not be able to attend in-person fairs. More than 7,500 job seekers from across the United States and Canada participated in Goodwill s first virtual career fair in May Virtual Fair to Occur During Goodwill Industries Week Since 1951, the first full week of May has been proclaimed Goodwill Industries Week. This year, from May 5 11, Goodwill agencies across the United States and Canada will celebrate the Goodwill mission with a variety of local events and participation in the virtual career fair. 11 11 Appendix B: Goodwill Energy Challenge Sponsorship What is the Goodwill Energy Challenge? The energy challenge is an internal competition designed to encourage members to decrease energy consumption and save money. It is part of the Goodwill Sustainability Program, now in its fifth year. The challenge began in June 2012 and runs through June There are 40 members participating in the Energy Challenge, for a total of over 500 buildings. Members enter data into Energy Star Portfolio Manager and share it with GII. Participants receive information about the challenge at the various conferences, through quarterly newsletter reports on member progress, and through bimonthly s with tips and information. Participants in the challenge are interested in environmental sustainability and cost savings. Sponsorship Overview Two (2) out of five (5) GII national conferences in 2013 will feature energy challenge information to educate attendees and showcase and demonstrate Goodwill s commitment to sustainability. Sponsorship packages run through the duration of the energy challenge, which runs through June Sponsorship can be obtained for specific activities and events or for the entire challenge.
