2 2017 EDITORIAL OVERVIEW Every issue of American Cake Decorating magazine is filled with the latest cake decorating information that our readers crave. With the addition of a digital edition, we were able to add even more more recipes, more tutorials, more exclusives and more incredible cakes to wow and inspire. We ve listened to feedback and responded to suggestions with the introduction of exciting new columns and up-to-the-minute content. For 2017 our focus remains on bringing you more more how-to s, more exclusive interviews, see-it-here-first designs and more insight into the wonderful world of cake. Here s a run-down of what we include in every issue, as well as what to expect for the coming year: Test Kitchen: We ask an experienced baker, cake designer, chocolatier or sugar artist to try out a new piece of equipment, tool, ingredient. Each issue documents their process and experience of the latest product innovations. Do you have a product you d like our contributors to road test? Tutorials: Every issue features three incredible tutorials, and each tutorial is tailored to create an easy-to-follow learning experience for cake lovers at every level; from novice to intermediate and even advanced level decorators we have something for everyone. We work with the very best cake decorators the industry has to offer and they LOVE to create inspiring tutorials using the latest products and tools. Demystifying art forms such a Lambeth and Nirvana and breaking these complex, much admired but feared, techniques into easy and digestible lessons that even the novice decorator can understand. Last Bite: A beautiful cake/dessert photo and recipe to close out the issue.
