2 Scarecrow Fest Held annually on Columbus Day weekend, the 32 nd Scarecrow Fest takes place October 6-8, 2017 Nationally-recognized festival famous for its unique scarecrow displays is intended to celebrate and promote the Greater St. Charles area while bringing visitors, local residents and businesses together. In 2012, the festival received national exposure on NBC s Today Show that highlighted the event as one of the country s top five fall festivals. Scarecrow Fest has been recognized four times as one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association.

4 Scarecrow Fest Fact Sheet Location: Four themed venues throughout Downtown St Charles, Illinois Dates/Times: October 6 8, 2017 Fri & Sat 10a 9p, Sun 10a 5p Attendance: 120,000 + Audience: All demographic groups. Onsite surveys in 2016 revealed that attendees came from 15 states and 2 countries. Illinois attendees came from 115 different communities. Specific Activities: Over 100 unique scarecrows on display with attendee voting, Make Your Own Scarecrow, Carnival, Vendors, wide variety of food vendors, and juried arts & crafts show. Marketing: Radio, internet, print coverage. Opportunities: Light pole banners on Main Street, booth space, inclusion in: programs, posters, postcards, flyers, on-site signage, social media posts and PA announcements. Promotion Ideas: Product sampling, database development (register to win), product sales, contests/promotions, premium incentives, couponing / bouncebacks, cross promotions / sponsor partnerships.
5 Why You Should Take Part? It is a community festival that will attract thousands of people with a broad demographic reach located in one of Chicago s most affluent areas. 8 Presenting Sponsor- $20,000 Your organization would be the Presenting Sponsor of Scarecrow Fest and have naming rights to the festival (St Charles Scarecrow Fest presented by Coca-Cola). Your company brand/logo will be included on all marketing pieces. 9 Make Your Own Scarecrow Sponsor - $9,000 (Sponsorship includes BOTH locations!) Branding of MYOSC events as Make Your Own Scarecrow presented by X on brochure (approx. 20,000 printed) Wherever mentioned in printed, informational or on-line materials the activity will be referred to as the Make Your Own Scarecrow presented by X Sponsored by X signage where MYOSC takes place will be prominently displayed near the activity Includes Zone Sponsorship of the Filling Station Lot. Area will be called the X Zone on all printed, informational and online materials Name and logo and link (when applicable)on festival website and in advertising 10x10 display space including tent, table, chairs and electricity in or near the activity (to be chosen by sponsor)

11 Lincoln Park Entertainment Stage Sponsor - $6,500 Company/brand to be listed as the X Stage Sponsor Stage will be referred to as X Entertainment Stage in all informational material including brochures, event signage and advertising Company name and logo listed on event website One 10x10 tent Custom stage signage with company approved artwork (provided by the festival)
12 Festival Zone Sponsor (4 total) - $5,000 The Scarecrow Fest is divided into four areas to help attendees navigate throughout the grounds using a color-coded Scarecrow Fest map. Each zone will be given a title. These zones can be sponsored and include names of businesses and brands. These zone titles are used on the event website, Scarecrow Fest map, directional signage, stage announcements, information booths, etc. In promotional and informational material, zone sponsors will be referred to as X Zone. Each Fest zone sponsor will also have a 10x10 display space including a tent, one table, two chairs and electricity.
13 Trolley Sponsor Opportunity to own and brand with signage the festival Trolley(s) that travel throughout the festival grounds all weekend transporting guests from one part of the event to the other. It is the main means of transportation and provides visibility not only within the festival to the passengers, but on the main streets of St. Charles as well. Own a Trolley - $5,500 (Two available) Your company will have exclusive branding on one Trolley for the entire weekend with signage provided by the festival. Opportunity to have representatives on board greeting passengers and discussing your company services with passengers along with providing handouts/giveaways to the riders. Sponsor a Trolley - $600 Your company will be showcased on one of the Trolleys with a 4 x 2 festival provided sign.
14 Walkabout Sponsor Designed for smaller companies interested in participating in the festival, Walkabout Sponsorships allows organizations the ability to showcase their brand while not overburdening a smaller staff. This unique package allows companies the ability to market to all the festival zones for a limited time without having to man a stand alone booth. Walkabouts are available from 10a 6pm daily (5pm on Sunday). Company is limited to 2 employees at each venue and a limit of 4 employees per shift for the entire festival. Three Day Walkabout - $3,000 (Two available) Two Day Walkabout - $2,000 (One available) One Day Walkabout - $1,000 (One available)
15 Dining Tent Sponsor - $4,000 Sponsor the new 10x30 dining tent that will be placed in the popular VFW Lot. With so many food choices, crafts and sponsor activations for attendees to choose from within the lot, this tent will serve as a place for attendees to sit down, cool off and enjoy a meal while they take in the scenery of the festival.
