3 THE FESTIVAL The BIG Picnic event will be held for the second time on Discovery Bays Tai Pak beach including DDeck & the main plaza. * Experience live and original performances from Hong Kong s best and rising talent plus multiple special events leading up to the festival itself. * Become immersed with the festival spirit and its mission to encourage Hong Kong s local and independent performers to reach selection into CLOCKENFLAP (HK s Largest International Music Festival). * Make a difference as the festival counts down the sale of event wristbands donating a generous percentage of proceeds to selected Hong Kong based charities. Step straight off the DB ferry and into the festival atmosphere amongst the hustle & bustle of market stalls, the main plaza stage and a selection of international restaurants at DDeck on the bay. A few more steps through the promenades alfresco dining and you reach the beating heart of the festival on Tai Pak beach boasting professional festival stages, a big screen, beach bar & multiple food vendors, activities for kids and more.

These include special events leading up to the Festival as well as the chance to attend the festival and have levels of VIP treatment for your guest. Big reach of consumers Sponsors receive repeated exposure in a variety of ways: Starting with the BIG Picnic band selection process in September, on the Festival website, in articles, in print magazines, in brochures and flyers, in the Festival program book and on signage at the festival and events in several locations. This visibility for sponsors impacts a sizeable and appealing audience of approximately 12,000 plus attendees from Discovery Bay, Hong Kong Island and the surrounding areas. The number one reason people attend the Festival is to hear outstanding musicians and watch exceptional talent in a fun family friendly setting. This reputation has been built over 10-years and the Festival s ongoing appeal is verified by the need to move to a bigger venue (Tai Pak Beach) plus The BIG Picnic s new association with Clockenflap as a stepping-stone into this International Music Festival. This strategic move will now lay the foundations for a music festival season in Hong Kong starting in October and ending with Clockenflap in late November / early December.

Giving back to the community & respecting our environment We aim to be a green festival, minimizing plastic packaging, straws, balloon, etc as we are respectful of our environment. We provide recycling bins at several locations at the festival to ensure festival goers can recycle glass, plastic, paper & food waste. The BIG Picnic feels it is important to give back to the community and the event supports local HK Charities. We carefully select the charities each year, below are 2016 s selected local HK charities.

Use it to create a social hub that connects the event s festival goers via social media such as Twitter & Instagram. Festivalgoer s can purchase TBP Festival wristband to indicate they have contributed to the event. Number of wristbands sold will be indicated on the big screen. Wrist bands holders are eligible for sponsored prizes & giveaways, special discounted rates on food & beverage, access to the beach bar setting. Kid s Zone - This year there will children s wristbands available for sale. These wristbands will give children access to the Kid s Zone with bouncy castles, face painting and entertainment. Great way to children entertained and happy. Event T-Shirts & Booth There will be booths/marquees available for Sponsors to rent on Tai Pak Beach near the Beach Stage area. We can provide more information on request. We will have The BIG Picnic T-Shirts on sales where sponsors have the opportunity to have their logo on display ((limited quota available)
