DAS was previusly limited t dealer reimbursement fr new vehicle advertising nly. Hwever, Kia recgnizes the psitive impact that parts and service marketing can have n supprting yur dealership s verall peratins and future vehicle sales. Custmers that are lyal t yur Service Department are mre likely t return fr custmer pay and re-purchase their next Kia frm yur dealership. Therefre, the chice is nw yurs as t hw t best utilize yur DAS funds. Attached are the prgram guidelines. Eligible advertising will include apprved parts and service retail and whlesale ads, parts and service marketing prgrams, and parts and service merchandising materials. Fixed Operatins DAS expenditures will be reimbursed at the same dllar fr dllar DAS rate as new vehicle advertising. Als new fr 2011, is the additin f Fixed Operatins Reginal Marketing Funds. These funds are separate and distinct frm any new vehicle marketing funds yu may have available t yu. These funds are intended t supprt special dealership parts and service advertising prgrams. Dealer fund allcatins are based n ptential prgram impact and are at the discretin f yur Reginal Parts & Service Manager. Yur DPSM will review the details with yu. Eligible advertising csts fr apprved parts and service retail and whlesale ads, parts and service marketing prgrams, and parts and service merchandising materials will be reimbursed at a rate f 50% fr all apprved Fixed Operatins RMF claims. It is the dealer s sle respnsibility fr submitting reimbursement claims against either their DAS r RMF prgram accunt. Dealer claim submissins against either prgram are t be submitted t The Advertising Checking Bureau (ACB), using ne f the prgram specific claim frms. 3 2011 PARTS & SERVICE DEALER ADVERTISING SUPPORT PROGRAM (DAS Funding) PROGRAM TIMELINE The 2011 Dealer Advertising Supprt (DAS) Prgram -- Parts & Service, helps supprt Kia dealership parts & service advertising placed frm February 1, 2011 thrugh January 31, PROGRAM GUIDELINES RULES Kia Mtrs America (KMA) will allw dealers t submit a DAS claim frm fr eligible parts & service advertising csts. Dealers are nt t cmbine their sales reimbursement requests (DAS r RMF) n the same frms as any service and parts claim. Please use a separate Parts & Service (P&S) DAS claim frm fr parts and service claims. One claim frm, submitted per mnth fr parts and service activities, has spacing prvided fr multiple reimbursement requests (see sample n page 5). KMA will reimburse Kia dealer s advertising csts fr apprved parts and service retail and whlesale ads, parts and service marketing prgrams, and parts and service merchandising materials at the same dllar fr dllar DAS rate as new vehicle advertising. KMA s reimbursement will nt exceed the balance f the dealer s DAS accunt. The primary purpse f the advertisements must be t increase the sale f Kia Service, Kia Genuine Parts and/r Kia Genuine Accessries t Kia wners and/r whlesale accunts.
