14 the sovrn tm logo 01 Overview The sovrn logotype and bars were developed to provide the foundation for a consistent application of the sovrn brand across all products and media including interface, Web, collateral, promotions, and advertising. Consistently expressing the sovrn visual identity builds a strong brand awareness, allowing sovrn to be the recognized leader in its space. Please follow these guidelines for the most effective brand expression.

15 the sovrn tm logo 02 Logo Configuration The sovrn corporate logo is made up of both the bars and the sovrn logotype. These two elements should appear as shown here in all corporate materials including the sovrn website, and collateral materials. The Sovrn corporate logo

16 the sovrn tm logo 03 Logo Usage Logo Proportions The sovrn logo has been developed as a balanced whole and at no time may the shape, configuration, or proportions be altered. The correct proportions are shown here. Consistent use of the logo helps maintain the integrity of the brand and ensures greater brand recognition. The Sovrn logo proportions X Clear Space To preserve the integrity of the logo and ensure maximum impact in environments where it appears with other elements, clear space must be maintained on all sides of the logo. The minimum clear space required is relative to the size of the logo. It is equal to the X-height of the sovrn type as indicated. 1x 1x Clear space x 1x 1x Minimum Size When the logo is reduced there is a point at which it becomes ineffective. By establishing a minimum size for the logo it is ensured the logo is always prominent and readable. The sovrn logo should never be reproduced smaller than 1.0 inches across. 1.0 inch

17 the sovrn tm logo 04 Color Color Specifications The sovrn logo utilizes one spot color: PMS 108. This full-color version is the preferred usage for all printed materials or promotional items. Pantone Matching System colors are specified here for those purposes. When 4-color offset printing is used for printed materials, the logo may be reproduced in the 4-color equivalents of the Pantone colors. RGB values are provided for on screen usage. The Sovrn corporate logo colors Sovrn Yellow PMS 108, c:6 m:17 y:100 k:0 r:242 g:203 b:20 f2cb14 Grayscale Logo When using the full color sovrn is not an option on printed materials, a grayscale version of the logo may be used. Black or grayscale alternates may be used in 1-color applications such as newspaper advertisements. Grayscale logo

18 the sovrn tm logo 05 Color Logo Application on Color Background Although the full color logo on a white background is the preferred usage, there will be instances when the logo must appear on a color or darker background. In cases where the background is a colored or darker the logotype must reverse to white for maximum legibility. There must be sufficient contrast between the Arrow graphic and the background color for this usage. Corporate usage on a light neutral background Knock out logotype on a dark or colored background

19 the sovrn tm logo 06 Improper Logo Usage The sovrn logo has been carefully designed to reflect the brand personality of sovrn and it should always appear in its original form with sufficient clear space surrounding it. The sovrn logotype is a custom set version of Alfa Slab One in lower case. Do not reset the sovrn type or alter it in any way. Do not alter the logotype or its relationship of the bars. Do not alter the size relationship between the bars and the sovrn type. To ensure the impact and preserve the integrity of the logo, any deviation from the established standard usage is prohibited. The following examples show improper usage of the sovrn logo. Do not alter the typography. Do not alter the colors of the logo. Do not capitalize the sovrn type.
