2 UNIFEST Description Unifest is the oldest multicultural event in Broward County celebrating its 24th year in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. It is an array of Cultural Education, Creativity and Adult Empowerment designed to unify people and showcase their diversity. It brings Cultural education with our Youth Motivational and Adult Empowerment Workshops, Cultural Sensitivity and Awareness to the community through various activities such as Arts and Craft, Sports, Cultural Costumes, Business and Health Expo, International Cultural Exchange Program, Mardi Gras parade, Food, Flavors and Music of the Caribbean. Unifest is designed as the official kick-off to the National commemoration of Caribbean American Heritage Month celebrated in June. Teen Sensation talent showcase provides the platform for teens ages to showcase their artistry in a safe and nurturing environment. Their presentation are in the areas of music, dance and poetry. We can boast that one of our participants made it to the popular national talent show, THE VOICE.. Unifest 2018 will bring more value to our sponsor because of the expanded activities over 3 days.
