The hosts Sarah Bradley and Brendon Pongia front an entertaining, informative and lively show which reaches a broad audience by having something for everyone. Content includes a wide range of regular segments, celebrity interviews and competitions. Regular segments include: cooking with guest chefs; movie and book reviews; panel discussions; live music; fashion; exercise; parenting; craft; interior design; gardening; makeovers; nutrition and relationship advice. A premium will apply to Advertorials requested first in hour of programme. All bookings subject to availability. No protection is guaranteed against proximity of advertising for competing products unless specifically agreed with TVNZ. We will use reasonable endeavors to avoid this type of conflict. It maximizes your exposure by bringing the programme online with tvnz.co.nz.

3 ADVERTORIALS Advertorials provide an opportunity to feature products, services and demonstrations in a unique environment. Viewers consider Advertorials to be part of the Good Morning format, which enhances a product s credibility. Good Morning Advertorials, produced for television, also run on the tvnz.co.nz website. This offers new opportunities to provide the audience with more product information, contact details as well as website links post transmission. Each Advertorial is 4 minutes in duration and has national coverage. Advertorials are filmed prior to transmission (pre-recorded) in our Auckland studios. They are filmed as Live so no editing or post production is required. Your company representative will be interviewed by our Advertorial Presenter within our Advertorial set. The set options available are the demonstration bench, lounge chairs with coffee table, kitchen set (with or without cooking) or an empty set for larger demonstrations. Cooking in studio includes gas hobs for cooking but not a working oven. There is an additional fee for cooking (cost available on request) Use of photographs, additional footage (30sec maximum) or other graphics, can be inserted into your Advertorial at the time of recording. Your company logo can also appear on your graphics. ADVERTORIAL BENEFITS 4 minute duration allows time to: Profile new products. Communicate extensive features, benefits, competitions and specials. Low cost entry into Television advertising. Test market new products or trial offers, before investing in television commercials. Product trial e.g. phone for a free sample. Product credibility, by being in programme. Direct response via 0800, website or by post. Measurable. Responses are immediate. Responsive audience - Viewers are already conditioned to responding, e.g. by offering prize packs. Viewers drive retailers by asking for your product. ONLINE ADVERTORIAL BENEFITS Online extension of on-air Advertorial content. Advertorial video clip hosted within the Good Morning Advertorial section on the tvnz.co.nz website. An Advertorial page devoted to each individual Advertorial. This page can be used to expand on product information, special offers and contact details. This can also include a link to any specific product or company website. Make product information accessible for viewers any time, day or night. Advertorial can be taken through to point of sale, orders, online shopping etc. Clients have the opportunity to host the Advertorial on their website (cost available on request). Clients logo is integrated into branded Good Morning display banners run of site on tvnz.co.nz driving through to advertorial hosted on Good Morning section. Result to date has seen a huge increase in enquiries as in against other forms of advertising, and this has resulted in sales, with additional sales in the pipeline. 4 GOOD MORNING EXTRA Good Morning Extra is an opportunity to build on and extend the Good Morning 4 minute Advertorial. Good Morning Extra enables your brand to build the reach of the Advertorial full story message outside of the Good Morning programme using the credibility of the programme. At the time of shooting the Advertorial, a 60 second Good Morning Extra TVC is produced to be placed outside of the Good Morning environment. BENEFITS Cost efficient TVC production. Consistency of message from Advertorial to TVC with the same presenter. Exposure of the Advertorial content to a wider audience on TV ONE. Differentiates a brand/product by aligning it with a programme that the target audience is engaged with and positively disposed to. Delivers a mechanism for promotional leverage. Provides a communication platform with the flexibility to make regional change-outs. GUIDELINES Good Morning Extra is an extension to the programme, with the following parameters: Good Morning Extra will incur an additional production cost (please contact your TVNZ Sales representative for more details) Good Morning Extra spots must be played in conjunction with an Advertorial campaign. Exposure of Good Morning Extra is available on TV ONE only. TVNZ will grant a licence for a period of 4 weeks with an 8 week buy-out for any one campaign. This licence reflects TVNZ s need to ensure relevancy of editorial (talent, sets, graphics). Good Morning Extra TVCs are separately scripted and cannot be a cut-down version of the 4 min Advertorial. OTHER OPPORTUNITIES Good Morning has a number of in-programme sponsorship and integration opportunities available to clients. Please contact your TVNZ Sales representative for more information.

5 GOOD MORNING ADVERTORIAL TERMS AND CONDITONS Sales Terms & Conditions You, the Advertiser, agree to the following: 1. Priority of Terms: All Advertorials are subject to these Good Morning Advertorial Terms and Conditions (the Advertorial Terms) and to TVNZ s standard Terms and Conditions (TVNZ Terms), a copy of which can be supplied on request. The Advertiser acknowledges they have read and accepted the Advertorial Terms and the TVNZ Terms. Any terms and conditions negotiated in addition to the Advertorial Terms will be included in the client s contract (Client Contract). The Client Contract must be signed and returned to TVNZ before bookings can be confirmed. In the event of any conflict between the documents referred to above, the following shall take precedence: (i) the Client Contract; followed by (ii) the Advertorial Terms; followed by (iii) the TVNZ Terms. 2. Cancellation: a) Confirmation of Good Morning Advertorial air time is 49 days (7 weeks) prior to transmission. Failure to adhere to confirmation deadline will result in cancellation of any pencil booked Advertorials. b) Any confirmed bookings cancelled within 49 days (7weeks) from transmission date will incur full cancellation cost of Advertorial. c) If the Advertiser receives a discount based on a certain airtime spend and subsequently cancels, the discount will no longer apply. 3. Other Advertising: No protection is guaranteed against proximity of advertising for competing products unless specifically agreed with TVNZ. We will use reasonable endeavours to avoid this type of conflict. 4. Copyright: Your Advertorial is TVNZ copyright and cannot be used outside of Good Morning without written permission from TVNZ. Production Terms & Conditions: 1. Deadlines: a) Deadlines for supplying scripts, graphics and VT Inserts are set out in the Advertorial Overview. Any failure to meet these deadlines may result in TVNZ cancelling your record booking, which may result in cancellation charges. b) Written instruction for your Advertorial plays must be received by TVNZ three (3) days prior to broadcast (unless otherwise agreed in writing). The written instruction must clearly detail the date, time, client, agency, product and key number for your advertorial. c) You will complete and return the online information to the specified address on the supplied form at least ten (10) working days prior to the Advertorial going to air. Failure to do so may result in the information not being included on the Good Morning Advertorials section of the TVNZ website. Cancellations: 2. Any cancellation of your confirmed studio recording time up to 21 days prior to your recording will result in a charge of $1000 +GST. 3. Insert Footage: Any additional footage (VT Inserts) to be included in your Advertorial must be supplied in the format and aspect ratio outlined in the Advertorial Overview. Footage supplied in the incorrect format will either need to be re-supplied or editing and conversion charges may apply. 4. Additional Requirements: All additional items including but not limited to hairstyling and makeup, autocue use, filming and editing of VT inserts (as arranged prior to the record), use of additional or larger studio space, may be arranged by TVNZ at an additional cost. Prices are available on request. 5. Broadcast of Advertorials: As Good Morning is a live show, Advertorial broadcast times specified are approximate only. Due to the nature of live broadcasting, the time your advertorial goes to air may vary by up to 5mins either side of the time specified. If for any reason there is more than a 5 minute variance, you will be notified by the GM Advertorial Production team. 6. Approvals: TAPS and CAB approvals are the Advertiser s responsibility. TVNZ will not record an advertorial for a TAPS product unless concept and script approvals have been granted. TVNZ December 2010
