6 The CET Summit Hosted Buyer Programme CENTRAL What is a Hosted Buyer? Hosted Buyers are senior-level travel industry buyers with direct purchasing power. All buyers will have been qualified via the CETS Hosted Buyer application process. Once qualified and accepted, CETS will pay the travel and accommodation expenses to bring the buyers to you. Qualification To qualify, the applicant must be able to demonstrate that they are a senior decision maker, and/or budget holder, who will actively promote tourism and deliver more tourists to Croatia and Central Europe in general. Types Buyers will be selected from those sectors of the tourism industry that offer a potential direct benefit to you, the Exhibitor. Buyers will be carefully selected from: Travel Agencies, Destination Management Consultants, MICE organisers and Tour Operators plus other outbound source businesses. They will also include those organisations that are actively involved in the alternative tourism markets, as mentioned in this brochure. The Buyers Commitment Buyers agree to attend at least 10 meetings per day with exhibitors. Meetings will be scheduled online utilising the CETS buyer matching software. Exhibitors and buyers alike will have access to the software from September Exhibitors may request appointments via the software and conversely, buyers may request meetings with exhibitors.
