2 Why Support TestBash? Our mission at heart has never changed. We are here to co-create smarter testers. We ve never lost vision of that. We started off as a little 60 person conference. Now our conferences have gone global. In 2018 we will be hosting 7 conferences. On top of that we are growing our community and initiatives to create things we feel are of great value to the software testing industry. The Dojo and The Software Testing Clinic are examples of these. Brighton is the heart of TestBash. It s the home of testing friends. It has become pilgrimagelike - where testers return year after year, for the experience of learning and for making new and getting together with old friends. We must be doing something right, it is the testers that keep coming to us for more. More locations. More space. More need to connect. But more importantly, we are engaging effectively with software testers across the globe - co-creating an event that provides huge value for testers on the day and beyond through our The Club and The Dojo. However, just because we are growing, it does not mean we do not need your help. If anything, we need it more than ever. We have so many more things we believe and know the software testing community needs. Your support will help us get there, together as a community. At TestBash Brighton we expect to have testers attending on our main TestBash day. That s probably the biggest software testing conference in the UK. But we know numbers are often vanity and can mean nothing without value. We are the most engaged software testing community out there, fact. There s a reason we have 7 TestBash-es next year - this is all driven by the community, we are just trying to keep up with it all! Every TestBash has local representatives leading the effort of making a new event happen. This presents you with a great opportunity to connect with testers. People that are truly interested and engaged in the world of testing. Testers that want to hear from companies that support us. These are testers looking for new jobs. Testers looking for new resources or tools. Testers looking for better ways. Testers that share what they know. We re a creative bunch here. If you ask for an exhibition stand, we will say no. Sorry, we just won t take money for something that we believe won t add value. (Though, you could get creative with the UnExpo). However, we have space! And ideas! During this time, attendees will be given the chance to set up a stand and share their innovations, testing practices, new tools, testing problems, or thoughts on any topic that will initiate interesting discussions. Other attendees, armed with post-its, pens and awesome ideas, will then be able to visit stands of interest to discuss all things testing! As a sponsor you will get full acknowledgement it is sponsored by you and you ll also get your own little table to participate in the UnExpo. Sponsorship of pre OR post party/meetup Our evening meet ups are loved and very well attended. There is the option to sponsor either meetup/party and to help us customise the experience for attendees with (branded) drinks, food, nibbles and goodies you may want to hand out. This is a simple drawstring bag, big enough for collecting goodies on the day, and versatile enough to have a life past the conference, not retire in a cupboard before finding its way to a charity shop. Co-branded water bottles It s important to stay hydrated when attending a conference, the small glasses provided can sometimes not be enough, so let s keep the attendees hydrated and eager to learn with some co-branded water bottles. Co-branded pencil case We know our testers love a bit of stationery for during and after the conference. We ll put together a handcrafted co-branded pencil case with some goodies inside - you are welcome to provide anything for inside - pens, pencils, stickers, rulers, etc. We ll also throw in some of our own stuff for some extra tester happiness too. Photo Booth This went down a storm last year. We will have a photo booth set up during the day sponsored by you! Print outs of photos are available on the day with your logo on them.
