4 Dear Madam/Sir, 3 rd International Gastronomic Tourism Congress will be organized concurrently with TRAVEL TURKEY IZMIR 2017 Fair between 7 9 December 2017 at fuarizmir by İzmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs Trade Inc. (İZFAŞ) and Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) with the aim of gathering the leaders of gastronomy and tourism experts and educators, discussing the new approaches, trends that are helpful to improve the tourism industry. In the congress where the contribution of the gastronomic to the tourism of the region will be discussed, academic reports of congress are managed by Dokuz Eylul University and Izmir University of Economics. A congress book will be published as a result of the evaluations of the scientific board members. The language of the congress book will be in English. This congress, which will be prepared based on the history of how the culture of diverse beliefs reflected on cuisine, will display already existing gastro-regions, the new regional possibilities, new gastronomy movements and gastronomy heritages. Given the entertainment habits accompanying the eating culture and food in Izmir and nearby regions, it is clear that we are in a quite convenient position to benefit from gastronomic tourism in regional marketing. Food culture is one of the ways for a society to express itself and its own lifestyle. Gastronomy is a discipline that observes relationship between food and culture and today it is described as a secondary important factor at a region besides the primary touristic factor known as sightseeing. 3 rd International Gastronomic Tourism Congress will take place between 7 9 December 2017 at fuarizmir, displaying the effect of gastronomy customs created by many cultures, beliefs, and eating habits in layers in our geography throughout the history on the local and regional tourism. 11 MAIN SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: Euro + VAT There will be 1 Main Sponsor in our Congress. Public administrations, Governments, Municipalities and any regional administration will not be considered for Main Sponsorship. Rights that will be given to Main Sponsor / Sponsors; The Main Sponsor logo will take part in all printed press (announcements, press releases, program brochures, bill postings, e-bulletins, etc.) and the term of Main Sponsor will be used where possible. The Main Sponsor s promotional video for two minutes will publish at the opening of the session. The logo of the Main Sponsor will take part in all printed visual materials related to the congress (banner, tarps, etc.). With the inscription of The Main Sponsor of International Gastronomic Tourism Congress, the logo of the main sponsor will be bigger than and separate from other logos on the protocol invitation of Opening Session. The Main Sponsor can put inserts inside files and bag to be distributed within the scope of the Congress. A standard stand 50 sqm will be allocated for the main sponsor in the exhibition area of the Congress. Company is also allowed to built its own stand. 1 location will be allocated for installation of info-desk in the foyer where the event will be held. The logo of the main sponsor will be placed on kiosks (on the design) prepared specially for the event in the area of congress and at the top (continuously) of the sponsors section on the website. Seminar hall will be allocated to the Main Sponsor for 1 hour every afternoon for the Main Sponsor to perform product or service promotion in the Congress area. The logos of main sponsor (for promotional purposes, everywhere the Congress is mentioned) will be used on billboards, posters of the Congress and LCD monitors in busses (some busses offer this facility) within the borders of lzmir as allocated by metropolitan municipality of lzmir. (Numbers are to be indicated later.) The logo will be used in introduction films, if any, to be broadcasted on Sponsor TVs before and during congress. The name and/or logo of the main sponsor can be used in announcements related to congress that will be on TVs and newspapers. The Main Sponsor will take place in the proceedings book of International Gastronomic Tourism Congress with the inscription of Main Sponsor. The logo will be placed at the top of the general sponsorship boards in the congress area. 12 invitations will be provided to the Main Sponsor for the opening session. A discount of 10% will be provided to the Main Sponsor for other types of sponsorship. The Main Sponsor s banner will take a place on the website of the Congress.

12 DESTINATION SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: Euro + VAT Public administrations, Governments, Municipalities and any regional administration will be considered for Destination Sponsorship. Companies and brands from private sector will not be considered for this type of sponsorship. Maximum 3 sponsors will be hired within this scope. Rights that will be given to Destination Sponsor / Sponsors; Destination Sponsor logo will take place in all printed press (announcements, press releases, program brochures, bill postings, e-bulletins, etc.) and the term of Destination Sponsor will be used in where possible. The logo of the Destination Sponsor will take part in all printed visual materials related to the congress (banner, tarps, etc.). A standard stand of 30 sqm will be allocated for the Destination Sponsor in the exhibition area of the Congress. The name and/or logo of the Destination Sponsor can be used in announcements related to congress that will be on TVs and newspapers. The logo of the Destination Sponsor will take place in the sponsors sections on the website as the Corporate Sponsor (continuously). The Destination Sponsor will take place in the proceedings book of International Gastronomic Tourism Congress with the inscription of Destination Sponsor. Its logo will take place in the general sponsorship boards in the congress areas. 4 invitations will be provided to the Destination Sponsor for the opening session.

13 CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: Euro + VAT Number of sponsor is limited to 4 companies.public administrations, Governments, Municipalities and any regional administration will not be considered for Corporate Sponsorship. Rights that will be given to Corporate Sponsor / Sponsors; The Corporate Sponsor will take place alphabetically and as logoed in the program brochures and posters of Gastronomic Tourism Congress with the inscription of Corporate Sponsor. During congress, the Congress Sponsor can keep its flags/pennants in given numbers and in given places or can project its name/logo as visual presentation (projecting from a computer to a projection screen) at the hall where the sessions are held. A standard stand of 30 sqm will be allocated for the Corporate Sponsor in the exhibition area of the Congress. The name and/or logo of the Corporate Sponsor can be used in announcements related to congress that will be on TVs and newspapers. The logo of the Corporate Sponsor will take place in the sponsors sections on the website as the Corporate Sponsor (continuously). The Corporate Sponsor will take place in the proceedings book of International Gastronomic Tourism Congress with the inscription of Corporate Sponsor. Its logo will take place in the general sponsorship boards in the congress areas. 4 invitations will be provided to the Corporate Sponsor for the opening session.

14 SESSION SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: Euro + VAT The number of Sponsor Companies is limited to the number of sessions. Public administrations, Governments, Municipalities and any regional administration will not be considered for Corporate Sponsorship. Rights that will be given to Session Sponsor / Sponsors; The Session Sponsor will take place alphabetically and as logoed in the program brochures and posters of Gastronomic Tourism Congress with the inscription of Session Sponsor. The Session Sponsor s promotional video for two minutes will publish at the opening of the session. During congress, the Session Sponsor can keep its flags/pennants in given numbers and in given places or can project its name/logo as visual presentation (projecting from a computer to a projection screen) at the hall where the sessions are held. The logo of the Session Sponsor will take place in the general sponsorship board in the congress areas. The Session Sponsor will be provided with 2 invitations for the opening session.

15 TASTING SHOW SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: IN KIND The type of sponsorship is limited to the number of events to be held. Rights that will be given to Tasting Show Sponsor/ Sponsors; The Sponsor will take place as logoed in all printed press (announcements, press releases, program brochures, bill postings, e-bulletins, etc.) of the International Gastronomic Tourism Congress under the inscription of Event Sponsor. The logo of the Sponsor will take place on plasma TVs in the event area in rotations of 30 seconds and continuously at the sponsors sections on the website as Event Sponsor. The logo of the sponsor will take place in visible locations (pediments, columns) in the event area. The name of the Event Sponsor will take place in announcements related to congress that will be on TVs and newspapers. The Event Sponsor will be provided with the opportunity of mobile distribution inside the fairground for 4 days. The Event Sponsor will take place as logoed in the proceedings book 3 rd Gastronomic Tourism Congress under the inscription of The Event Sponsor of the Gastronomic Congress. The logo of the Sponsor will be used in the general sponsorship board in the Event areas. The visibility of the event sponsor in the fair will be increased with 1 guide board and 1 cubic framed advertisement area inside the fair. The name and logo of the sponsor will be used in the announcements and shares about the event in the social media. The sponsor will be entitled to distribute its own promotion products at the desks to be found in the areas near the event area. The Event Sponsor will be provided with 5 invitations for the opening session.

16 CONGRESS BAG SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: Euro + VAT (1000 Bags) Only 1 sponsor will be hired within the scope of the Congress. Rights that will be given to the Congress Bag Sponsor; Name and logo of the company will take place in the way to be determined by the organiser on the congress bag prepared for Speakers, Participants and the Visitors during the Congress congress bags with the logo of the sponsor company will be made by the organizer. The name and logo of the company will take place in visual advertisement and promotion works such as posters, tarps, etc. to be found at all halls, main entrances and similar Congresses as the Congress Bag Sponsor. The name and logo of the company will take place on the website of the Congress as the Congress Bag Sponsor. The logo of the Congress Bag Sponsor will take place in the brochures and general sponsorship boards in the Congress areas. The Congress Bag Sponsor will be provided with 3 invitations for the opening session.

17 NAME BADGE SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee Euro + VAT (1000 Name Bagdes) Only 1 sponsor will be hired within the scope of the Congress. Rights that will be given to Name Badge Sponsor; The name and logo of the Company will take place on the cords of name badges prepared for the Speakers, Participants and Visitors during the Congress cords of name badges with the logo of the sponsor company will be made by the organiser. The name and logo of the company will take place in visual advertisement and promotion works such as posters, tarps, etc. to be found in Hall C, main entrances and similar Congresses as the Name Badge Sponsor. The name and logo of the company will take place on the website of the Congress as the Name Badge Sponsor. The logo of the Name Badge Sponsor will take place in the brochures and general sponsorship boards in the Congress areas.

18 CATERING / COFFEE BREAK SPONSORSHIP Sponsorship Fee: IN KIND Only 1 sponsor will be hired within the scope of the Congress. The company will be referred to as the Catering Sponsor of the event that Coffee Break service (coffee, water, tea, and sweet-salty cookies) is provided for the participants, speakers and audience during the breaks and lunch package is provided to the speakers for 3 days during the Congress. Rights that will be given to Catering / Coffee Break Sponsor; The logo of the Catering/Coffee Break sponsor will take place in congress website and general sponsorship boards in the Congress areas. The Sponsor can keep its flags/pennants in given numbers and in given places in the areas where Coffee Break and lunch will be given.
