This year s event, This is It! will be themed 70 s Glam and will feature the Michael Jackson cover band, Foreverland. In addition to entertainment, this night provides the opportunity to involve the San Francisco midcareer professional community in Larkin Street s essential mission, assisting San Francisco s homeless youth in building their lives and exiting street life permanently! When Saturday, June 28 th 7:00 pm to midnight Where Hotel Kabuki 1625 Post Street San Francisco, CA Our Mission For 30 years, Larkin Street Youth Services has built a robust continuum of care to help homeless youth get off the streets. We are a pioneer in our field and our achievements are significant: there is no other agency in San Francisco and few nationwide to offer a similar breadth of services with comparable results. Innovation has always been a hallmark of our work, and this intensive strategic planning process has revealed that we are now poised to build on our success, deepen our impact, and set a new standard in the field. Larkin Street provides youth between the ages of 12 and 24 with the help they need to rebuild their lives. Each year, more than 4,000 youth walk through our doors seeking help. We give them a place where they can feel safe; rebuild their sense of self-respect, trust, and hope; learn school, life and job skills; and find the confidence to build a future. 2 Who We Are The Friends of Larkin Street Young Professionals Board was formed in 2009 with the goal to raise awareness and funds for Larkin Street Youth Services among mid-career professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sponsorship enable us to host successful events while raising funds to support our programs and generate interest with San Francisco s up and comers. Your Sponsorship Will Support Larkin Street s twenty-five housing, education, job assistance, and medical programs. Your generous support of our Annual Gala allows you to directly impact the lives of thousands of youth who Larkin Street will serve this year and will help ensure that our homeless and in transition youth have every opportunity to pursue their dreams and a positive future.
