2 About the PRSA Corporate Communications Section Over the past decade, the field of corporate communications has changed dramatically. PRSA s Corporate Communications Section helps practitioners develop and hone skills directly relevant to and valuable in corporate environments while providing opportunities for professional network growth via in-person and virtual networking. Educational programs are presented by many of today s leading authorities in corporate communications. As PRSA s largest Professional Interest Section, the Corporate Communications Section touts a membership composed of those working within corporate settings of all sizes as well as agencybased practitioners who provide counsel to corporate clients. About the PRSA 2018 Corporate Communications Strategic Collaboration Conference Presented by the PRSA Corporate Communications Section, the conference will bring together corporate communications professionals to address a myriad of topics affecting the profession today. From the proliferation of social media and the heightened role of data, to new practices in integrated communications and storytelling, the Corporate Communications Conference will offer attendees valuable opportunities to learn from leading experts who understand the challenges of the corporate communicator and are eager to share best practices. Conference attendees will gain new understanding, ideas and skills for planning and executing strategic communications that are critical to success in corporate environments, while participating in lively networking sessions. The PRSA 2018 Corporate Communications Conference Offers Sponsors: Access to a Dynamic Conference Throughout the year, the Corporate Communications Section offers nearly 1,200 members opportunities for education and discussion of the best practices and latest issues facing corporate communicators. The PRSA 2018 Corporate Communications Conference traditionally attracts 120 communicators who seek dynamic networking opportunities and professional development sessions on topics impacting corporate communications. Contact with Senior-Level Communicators Conference attendees primarily represent corporations. Seventy-five percent of all attendees are mid- to senior-level public relations professionals who work for or participate in the corporate communications sector. These leaders have influence over their specific company and brand, and possess extensive media, consumer and stakeholder contacts. Represented leadership serve as counselors to CEOs and executives in corporations and agencies. Attendees represent all industry sectors including technology, energy, health care, industry, higher education, finance, food and beverage, agriculture, insurance, transportation and tourism.
