Exhibition Information: China s Ministry of Commerce supported exhibition in Show Date: Nov. 5-7 th, 2015 Location: Wuhan International Exhibition Center, China. Organized by: China Chain Store & Franchise Association Beijing Union Exhibition Co., Ltd. 2. Exhibition Overview: CHINASHOP 2015 was held at Wuhan International Exhibition Center from Nov. 5-7 th, The show was strongly supported by China s Ministry of Commerce and Wuhan local government. In this year, the show area of CHINASHOP reached 80,000 sqm, the increase rate was 33% which compare to the last year. There were nearly 700 exhibitors who came from many countries participated in the show. All of these driven CHINASHOP became to the largest retail exhibition in the whole Asia, and second largest in the world. For most of Chinese retail companies, new technologies, perhaps mobile payments, Internet of things and O2O are really changed commercial

2 world which maintaining for hundreds, even thousands years. In order to enhance Chinese retail companies competitive advantages, support Chinese retailing industry accomplish its transition, so 2015 the theme of CHINASHOP is Change & Integration: to rebuild the Retail Values. Based on that, the exhibit sectors of CHINASHOP include four major zones like retail equipment, IT technology, local merchandise and retailer. In addition, CHINASHOP also has some comprehensive show sectors include cold-chain, commercial design, security system and future concept store to reveal the latest trend of Chinese retail industry and give all retailers inspirations about how to accomplish their transition. For three days exhibition, CHINASHOP attracted over 28,000 professional attendees not only from many parts of China, but from all over the world. Among the attendees, 61% of them were professional buyers, and 36% of them were decision makers of the companies. CHINASHOP 2015 Show Report A. Exhibition History: Until 2015, CHINASHOP has been successfully held for 17 years since The show area increases to 80,000 sqm, especially for last three years, the show area of CHINASHOP realized 20% increase rate for every year. All these drive CHINASHOP as the largest and most professional

3 retail exhibition in China. The show data of 2015 as following: a. Exhibitor Category There were over 700 companies participated in CHINASHOP 2015, the companies included retail equipment manufacturers, IT technology suppliers, commodity suppliers and famous shopping mall, super market and so on. For those exhibitors, more than half of them were equipment or IT suppliers. However, the commodity suppliers becoming more important for last 3 or 5 years. Exhibitor Analysis The total booth number of CHINASHOP 2015 reached 2793 (international standard 3*3 sqm), compare to 2014, the number of booth increased 33% in this year, the exhibitors also increased 29.7% as

4 well. According to exhibitor survey, the number of retailer and IT exhibitors growing fast than others, the increase rate reached 85.7% and 86.1% respectively. 5 B. Attendee Analysis CHINASHOP 2015 attracted more than 28,000 professional attendees in its three days exhibition. Compare to 2014, the number of attendees dramatically increased 70%, the number of international attendees also increased 100% as well. For all of attendees, 31% of them were pre-registered. Exhibitor Survey In order to better understand our exhibitors and improve our services, CHINASHOP lunched exhibitor survey during the exhibition. The exhibitors include domestic and international companies, equipment manufacturers, IT suppliers, commodity suppliers and retailers. There were 349 samples have been collected, and the survey results as following:

Marketing Promotion For the great success of CHINASHOP 2015, the efficient and strategic marketing promotion plays a very important role through the entire exhibition period. The marketing promotion efforts including Internet, social network tools, and mass media and so on, the advertising of CHINASHOP covered most of Chinese major websites. There were millions of visitors read our advertising in total. More than that, this is

9 the first year CHINASHOP step out of China and promotes its own brand to the world-wide. In 2015, there were many famous foreign medias published the presses from CHINASHOP and introduce CHINASHOP to many countries, like NBC, ABC, CBS, Yahoo! Finance, Reuters,Boston Globe,MarketWatch,New York Business Journal, and News Aktuell Germany.
