2 You are invited to participate: Mater Mothers Beautiful Moments Guinness World Record Attempt 4 November 2012 Mater Mothers Hospitals is hosting a Guinness World Record Attempt to assemble the largest number of expectant mothers in one location, in order to take the title from South Africa which has held the record since Mater Mothers Hospitals includes three maternity hospitals in the Brisbane and Bayside regions delivering more than 10,000 babies per year hence is well positioned to exceed South Africa s record of 1,164 expectant mothers. By attempting the Guinness World Record, Mater Mothers Hospitals aim to exceed this number by attracting 2,000 expectant mothers on event day. Participants do not need to be birthing at Mater Mothers Hospitals however they do need to be a minimum of 12 weeks pregnant on the day of the event. Not only will there be a very large number of Brisbane-based expectant mothers participating but accompanying partners, children and Mater maternity staff will also be in attendance. This event provides a unique opportunity for your business to align with Mater Mothers Hospitals, one of the largest maternity facilities in Australia, and with Mater Health Services which provides exceptional care to more than 500,000 patients annually thus a huge opportunity for your business to build brand awareness and image, develop relationships, display products and services and to ultimately stimulate business from these key target audiences. Venue The Mater Mothers Beautiful Moments Guinness World Record Attempt will be held at South Bank s Piazza, a wonderfully versatile open-air venue nestled within South Bank's urban landscape and a constant hive of activity. It boasts a large amphitheatre with a seating capacity of over 2,000 to accommodate our expectant mothers.
